vintage backpack
Overall, it is a good product. Sturdy construction for modest-weight items. Not for heavy-duty use. Limited pocket space, no individual pocket pen space. One large compartment with a secondary modestly padded pouch that fits a Surface Pro-type laptop, a Kindle reader, and perhaps a couple of hardback books. The second compartment is much shallower, and 2/3 the length of the larger pocket is roomy enough for a few more items or perhaps a sweater. The small zipper pocket is good for small items like pens, earbuds, and cellphone-sized media player. The false leather buckles are a nice touch with strong magnets to secure the flap. The straps are modestly padded. This will work nicely if you're looking for a lightweight, light-duty, modest storage bag with a vintage look.

Great backpack
I needed a new work bag and this is perfect. It's lightweight with lots of pockets. Nice place for laptop and built in USB port. I've received so many compliments already. Straps are sturdy. I love the color!

[Edit: Sep 2024] Updating my review to 5*
I originally had given this 3* due to the magnetic connecters on the leather straps constantly popping off. But, I figured out that you have to carefully align the button and the hole for the magnets to properly latch. Once this is done, it is very strong and does not pop off.The backpack itself is very good looking AND functional. All the pockets are perfectly placed to be functional and useful. Even the side pockets are great for a bottle of water or a small umbrella. We have used this as a daypack during travel in the US and Europe and it has met or exceeded every expectation.

Almost perfect
I bought this backpack to bring stuff back and forth from work, it has a laptop pocket and even a pocket for a travel charger for your phone. I fit a small laptop, water bottle, umbrella and lunch box in it, with maybe enough room for a sweater or gym clothes. It’s not huge, so if you’re looking for something that holds a lot of stuff maybe choose another one. My only takeaway is, like others said, the side pockets are not big enough to hold my water bottle. You can probably fit a small poland spring plastic bottle or a kid size water bottle though! It looks nice and so far has held up well for the few months I’ve had it now!

Very large, sturdy, charges phone
It's very large big enough for a laptop and notebooks, a text book, or binders. It has a charging port for your phone. Lots of pockets. Very sturdy and durable. The straps are comfortable. Well made, and no issues with it yet!

Great for university!
I'm a university student who has a bad habit of putting things I don't need in my backpack. I wanted a backpack that was lighter - just enough to carry my laptop, lab goggles, calculator, and a few computer accessories - to stop me from putting things in that I don't need. It has mostly worked. It's super light, seems durable, looks amazing, and gets the job done. The one thing I don't like - and this is really the only thing - is that the sides can't easily fit a water bottle or an umbrella when the backpack is even somewhat filled. This sucks because it means I have to carry those things or put them inside, but since I'm at a university with water fountains everywhere, it's not that big of a deal.Edit: it's been a while, and I eventually got tired of the restrictive size of the backpack and the lack of a water bottle holder. I ended up switching to an ultralight backpack. It's actually significantly lighter than this one. It lacks any rigidity, but I use a laptop case so I'm not worried about it getting damaged. If you're going for aesthetic purposes, this backpack is a great choice, and it's functional too; but if you're a commuting student like me, I'd recommend considering getting an ultralight camping backpack and a laptop case.

Nice backpack
Overall it’s a nice looking backpack. It does tend to wear and tear easily, but it’s worth it for the price. The usb pocket is great as an idea, but not very practical; the plastic piece broke off.
