American Apparel Women's Cotton Spandex Jersey Legging

OK, guys, get over it! With the weather going down to the teens down here in Louisiana, I highly recommend either "liberating" your own from your wife/girl, or just buy your own leggings. There is nothing to be embarrassed about. You wear these under your pants (and to answer your question, yes, panties are traditionally worn under them), and you will be warm. Take off your pants to go to bed, and your legs will be warm. I cannot recommend these more. Remember, it is all in the layering; it could save your life. And they are a MUST if you must be outdoors in this kind of weather. I am from up north, so this won't be anything that they don't know, but here in the deep south, this is a very unusual event. I think that we are approaching another ice age, so forget about "global warming" saving you. Stay warm and stay alive, and maybe even comfortable.

I have been enjoying wearing my American Apparel Women's Cotton Spandex Jersey Legging. They provide an excellent fit and are very comfortable to wear.

Cotton legging that are good are super hard to find. They are the only ones that i like the most because they allow all my parts to breath ;). These are not see though like many cotton leggings and they have a cool little sheen to them! If you are a cotton legging girls… buy these! I will buy again!!

I ordered these because the images show the leggings with a shine/shimmer appearance. Open the package and they are flat ass black. Will be returning.

This brand used to be my go to leggings. I ordered a few pair recently and was very disappointed. They weren’t long enough, even though I ordered the same size. There is no “long, tall, short” choice is choosing size. Also the bottoms weren’t tight enough, just baggy which I consider tacky. I believe they were discounted, so I got more than one. Like so many other products they’ve begun skimping instead of simply raising the price. I understand the need for that with transportation costs. I don’t understand losing customers by destroying the quality. Because they’ve lost me , I won’t order American Apparel again.

These leggings fit me very comfortably. I am tall, 5'9" and ordered XL. I prefer American Apparel because the product works for me and they have a long standing reputation for treating workers respectfully. I bought my first pair of AA leggings in a store in Vancouver many years ago and was very happy to find I can order them through amazon now as the store is no longer there.

Living Behind The Redwood Curtain...where UPS and FexEx are unreliable...to have this seller ship through the Post Office is Wonderful...the mail carrier comes out to the mountains everyday... so hurray!The legging are much nicer than I even expected. I did read reviews...and its true...they are a decent weigh...not see through wear once and throw away. Not too heavy...not to lightweight...just right.I given them a full day of wearing test...but I am on it...I expect I will be coming back again

I've been looking everywhere for the perfect leggings. I'd been lazily buying several $10 pairs from Target or cheaply on Amazon for years and just dealt with it when they ripped at the seams and bought a new replacement pair. Well, this year I'd had enough of those leggings that ripped, stretched and lost their elasticity after one wash or a couple of wears. They *looked* cheap. They didn't retain warmth, stand up to chub rub (I wear an XL) or feel comfortable around the waist band.I looked extensively for a pair that retained their stretch, kept me warm, stayed up without constant pulling, and could stand up to plus size chub rub in the thighs. I bought at least five pairs to test, both on and offline. This pair is my favortie, barring one other I'll mention later. American Apparel has tons of color options, and I am not only comfortable but CONFIDENT wearing these with a tunic or dress. They don't get baggy, they stay up without a lot of adjusting, and they keep me warm.The only pair I found that compares is Moon Tree Cotton Spandex Jersey Legging which has all of the attributes listed above, but is a little looser right at the ankle, which I love. It's a tiny, intentional flare just at the bottom so it doesn't squeeze uncomfortably.I know both of these cost a bit more but trust me, you won't be replacing them for awhile. I'll be updating as I think of it in the future. I assume that'll be often as these leggings are now a staple of my wardrobe!

I wish there was more color selection. I have been waiting for someone to have a seafoam green color that pencil crayon companies call acure. I have several tops with this color in them and love to change the legging color that I wear with a top but have never found this color.

I have worn these for years and was thrilled to find them on Amazon. They wash like a dream, never go out of shape or fade. The best leggings on the market

Lovely comfortable fit, very versatile - dress them up with blouses, fancy tops etc., dress them down with comfy t-shirts, tops, sweatshirts & jumpers. Love these!

good quality fabric and good fit. not see through which is great for white tights. bought for a costume but may use all around. good find for the price.

I bought these after several attempts with other brands that were disastrous. These leggings are opaque, comfortable and oerfect for my long legs. Shipped quickly. Excellent purchase.
