This is exactly what I was looking for! The material has held up perfectly for the last 6 months with near daily use. It is definitely non-slip and perfect for yoga or Pilates. It is pretty thin, so if you plan to do a lot of work on your back, you may want a thicker mat. I have been very impressed with the quality of the mat, specifically because I usually work out with my shoes on, other yoga mats I have used have fallen apart quickly when you wear your shoes on it. I personally also really like the colors of this specific mat, one side is a nice mellow light blue and the other side is a rich dark blue, very pretty. I have also cleaned the mat with just regular Clorox wipes and it cleans up easy and does seem to cause any damagae to the material.

EDIT: I thought I had revised this earlier but I guess I didn't. When I initially got the mat and used it after cleaning, I was pretty annoyed and got on the internet to vent.However, the owner has since contacted me to resolve the issue. She was very kind and offered to send me a hot yoga towel for free, which I received.I did a more thorough cleaning of my mat, have used it the past few months and now I love it. It does need a bit more maintenance than other mats I've had but it's worth it for the extra padding and quality that you get.Thank you Yogu Master! I will be recommending you to my friends and family from now on.Okay, just bought this mat, and I practiced this morning on it. I'm extremely disappointed. I was slipping the ENTIRE time in the simplest of poses. It was NOT a hot yoga class. Regular, air conditioned room. Yes I was sweating because I was working out, and I was slipping every downward dog.I'm really upset because I'm now realizing that all of these reviews are from people who got this mat at a lower price.I did NOT receive the product for a discount for my review. I bought it full price.

I really liked Yogi Master Mat because it's non-slip. I was looking for a yoga mat to start practicing again. Since it's comfortable due to its thickness and stability has helped me return to my routine. I feel save to pose on it. It doesn't slip or slide. Yogi Master Mat stays in place.I bought one for my sister since this mat is great to gift.

I took a Yoga class and decided to get my own mat because the ones they provide to us are very thin and hurt my back (I have a back pain that causes me to be very sensitive to hard floorings). So, I was really picky when hunting for a yoga mat. When I found this, I was really happy because the price is descent and the quality is awesome. After using it for several weeks, the mat still looks brand new. The only issue I had with it is that the edge would always fold upwards when I open it but it doesn't bother me because it is really long. On top of that, the yoga is eco-friendly, which is something that I care a lot about and the seller gives back to the community. Finally, I love the fact that I can always reverse the sides and get a different color mat.

I Just love this mat! It's non slip which is a big deal for anyone doing yoga or Pilates . I use my mat for both and it works great I don't hurt my spine anymore which is amazing . I enjoy that it has two different textures on the sides depending on your grip needs. Overall this is a great mat and you can't beat the price. My only complaint is the carrier....it's really just a long shoes string and it leaves an indent on the mat so I took it off the day I got my mat in the mail and never used it.

I was extremely pleased with this yoga mat. I'm deployed to the Middle East and the conditions for yoga are less than ideal. My biggest issues with other mats is that I could feel everything, even the smallest stones through the mat and I was constantly making squeaking noises from sliding. This mat saves my knees and elbows, is extremely comfortable, durable and slip-free! I've had this mat about 5 months and it has held up tremendously!On the other hand I have never had better customer service from shopping online anywhere! It will exceed anyone's expectations by far! The initial email wasn't just another generic Amazon "leave feedback" email. It actually came straight from the company which included tips and care instructions and they responded to my feedback within 24 hours!

Love this mat! I'm not claiming to be a yoga expert, just a beginner... but the feel of this mat is much better than some of the others I have bought. The feel of it is much better. It sounds strange, but it seems to have a more grounding feel.The only comment I have is that I'm 6'5" so I haven't found a mat that fits my body fully. Being that I'm not an expert, they may make one for big and tall... Please comment if you know of anyone that also needs a longer mat. I will say, if they made a mat that was larger, I would hope that it was just like this one!

I gave this mat 4 stars initially, but now that I have practiced with it several times, I have upped it to a 5 start mat. Love the versatility, 2 sides for different practices. AND, at 5' 9" the length of 72 inches is superb. I don't run out of mat anymore. Delivery was quick and actually arrived sooner than expected. I am a yoga teacher, and have become more of a "professional; student." Great mat, great price.
