Elevates scope, so I could raise BUIS if needed
Yes, it does elevate my scope, as intended; I wanted enough clearance under the scope to attach my Back-Up Iron Sights (BUIS).A lot of people are mentioning/complaining about not being able to look through the riser to use their BUIS. Well, I would have that same issue. However, the riser is a quick-disconnect, so you could remove the scope easily enough to use your BUIS. Sure, it won't be in a few seconds as if you could just pop up the sights, but if it was that great of a concern you could just get some smaller BUIS, or get a different riser. Can't fault the riser, when they don't know what particular sights you're using with it.

not useful to me at all
This is a descent quality mount and it is fairly well made, but I couldn't use it on my AR. I wanted to use it for its intended purpose...so I could look through it with my iron sights. However, even with a 1/2" riser added under it, it still wasn't high enough. The only way it worked is if I would have added another 1" riser mount to it, but that put my scope ridiculously high. So, this just sits in my closet...not useful to me at all.

Great product for the money
Just received it today and was a perfect fit for my ar to retain my std a2 sight setup with a shoot through scope mount. Gave me the perfect amount of raise. Looks well built and fits great. For anyone needing a short 1" riser i would highly recommend this product. Now comes the test whether itll stay tight but seeing as the mount hardware looks exactly like the barska scope mounts stuff i wouldnt expect issues

its better than not being able to use a backup sight
It sits a little bit high at the base, but I can see the iron sights on the GSG-522, just not as clearly as I'd hoped. But it's ok, its better than not being able to use a backup sight.Thanks!

Does What It's Supposed to Do
Works very well. Use it off and on with an AR15. Very solid, and has no wiggle or loosening with use or travel. The see-through factor doesn't seem to matter much with my particular rifle but it may on other types of firearms. Good product.

This is one of the better ones. It's my favorite for red dot and 1pc. cantilever scope rings

Cumple perfectamente con la descripción
No sólo es que cumple con la descripción, además es muy sólido. Yo lo utilizo para elevar la mira telescópica en el m4, de forma que no tengo que inclinar tanto la cabeza. Además, al ser de gas con Blowback, (el m4) da mucha estabilidad a la mira en cada cargador disparado no teniendo que ajustar.Saludos
