UPDATE- DEAD at age 17 months
Works well on both ceramic tile, rugs and carpet. Hasn’t gotten stuck or needed much attention. Sad to see how much dirt is on my floors- doing a great job!!! Very quiet and efficient. My sheepie doesn’t mind it... much!Aug 30, 2021 Worked well as above. Had to replace filter and brushes. Now rear wheel assembly broke and no longer works- sits at docking station beeping until it drives me crazy. ALMOST sprung for the $60.00 battery- thinkinbg it was that, but as we prepared to take battery cover off- realized the wheel assembly on one side flops and the other is stationary. Not sure why- no kids to casue issues, dog runs from it and we ONLY use it in our kitchen with ceranic tile floors. OF course this is NOT a replaceable part. Rerpairs cost more than a new one!!!! SO sad, because I love Bissell products and thier PET products. but have to vote NO on this one. Purchased my daughter saem one in Julky- 202 - afraid of what is coming next...

Recommend as a basic botvac if on sale price
It is our first robot vac and have used it this past week with no issues. Purchased during deal of day for $164.99 as a trial vac to see how we like a robovacs before planning to get a 2nd more expensive mapping robot vac to be used on primary house floor and at that time the Bissell will be moved to finished basement for limited duty.Pros:-We have thick rugs on tile and hardwood floors and has not had any problem going over them.-Has not got stuck on any transition areas, under chairs, goes around legs and finds its way out each time.-It always senses the stair edge and turns around.-Quiet motor operation (only wheel noise from travel over ceramic tile grout lines which would be expected)-Dust bin is always full after each daily cleaning 1-2 hrs (actually surprised how much cat hair it finds)-easy to empty dust bin, brush is easy to remove to remove any pet hair.-Remote to manual steer away from trouble areas or to pause if gets into wires. (if watching tv and it is cleaning in same room you can steer it away from a trouble area if you see it heading in that direction)-includes cleaning tool, replacement side brushes, and replacement paper pleated filter.Cons(expected from a basic vac): -No way to schedule the length of cleaning time or cleaning days, only cleaning start time each day.-Must block all areas with wires or it will get tangled up in them-Nothing in manual about using no-go strips or if it even works with them-Returns home but does struggle (does not take direct path and has trouble if really far away from charging doc)-Needs partial supervision if you prep area( i.,e shut room doors you want keep it out, block wire areas etc). You just need to let it know it is done cleaning by hitting home button since it does not have mapping, no-go lines, or tracking of where it has been since basic random bot vac.So far, this seems like a good basic botvac for a cleaning dust and pet hair off hard floor surfaces in main living and controlled areas (not whole house), while you do other tasks in vicinity. Our future purchase for whole upper floor will likely be a Roboroc S5 Max (not released yet USA) or Roboroc S6 when on sale $439 (EU S5 Max version released today). LIDAR mapping and navigation, mopping function with no-mop areas,, virtual no go lines, fast cleaning time with planned routes that know where it has cleaned, long battery life. Highly considered Neato D7 but reviews have shown people having reliability issue. Considered Shark IQ self emptying but reviews reports software bugs and other problems. The Roomba S9+ is just too expensive at $1399 for a vacuum.

Works great... Until it doesn’t.
What else can I say? Great robo-vac for the money. If I had to find fault, it would be that it doesn’t automatically return to the charging dock. Instead it’ll stop wherever it finds itself, and you have to use the remote, pressing the “Home” button. After that, it somewhat clumsily finds its way to the dock, but it does find its way home. Come to think of it, and still speaking of docking, the instructions say that about 2 feet of clearance is needed on either side for efficient docking. Not having this kind of clearance anywhere in the house, I finally settled for a place that has less than a foot’s clearance on either side. It works fine, or if there’s an issue it isn’t serious enough to catch my attention. Another odd thing is that when it stops, it still has plenty of charge. I’ve found it stopped, hit one of the several cleaning pattern buttons to start it back up, and it goes chugging along happily and for quite a while. It’s only when I’ve set it to cleaning for a third go-around that I’ve totally drained it. I guess it’s set to a reasonable cleaning time, which will also leave it with plenty of charge to return to the dock on its own steam for two cycles. As for durability, it’s endured light use for less than a year, so the jury’s out. But so far, so good.I also can’t say anything about how it would handle steps or carpets, as I don’t have any.A year and 3 mos. later: all of the above was true... Until it stopped dead and won’t work. Today I installed a new battery, thinking that this was what had died. $20 something later, nope, that’s not it.

Go with a Bissell!
We purchased the Bissell EV675 on a whim, because our hard floors seem to be increasingly dusty/dirty, even with daily sweeping. I was extremely skeptical about the cleaning performance of a robot (seemed gimmicky to me), but I have to give it to the little guy, he’s exceeded my expectations! We have two small kids and meal time = mess time, so I’m routinely running the robot after dinner to clean the floor while I’m picking up the kitchen. I’m blown away by the difference it’s made, and I LOVE the remote, which is very helpful if you want to guide or direct the robot to clean a certain area or mess. It does a fantastic job picking up cheerios and crackers left behind by the kids, and I’m always surprised at the amount of dust in the dirt bin. It’s super easy to program and we have ours run at 10am every day when the house is empty. The robot always seems to find its way back to the dock, so it’s ready to clean again after dinner! This thing even cleans under our couch, and is extremely quiet, so it’s not obnoxious to run while we’re home.Overall, I’m very satisfied with the EV675 and happy to get the cleaning performance I except from a Bissell product!

Useful and efficient
This is an excellent vacuum which cleans well and is not too complicated to work with.

Great job - terrorized the cat at first
We have a Lab and a Siberian cat and they produce a lot of hair. It works great! Took a couple of days for the cat to not want to kill it but now all is good.

Powerful little thing
Does well with pet hair however I find the hair gets caught in the brush often. However we have a lot of long dog hair all over. The first couple times it runs you have to empty it out multiple times but once it catches up it seems to not need emptying as much. Can't miss a day in our house. I do find that sometimes it just dies or quits at random places. It's a fun time trying to find it when I get home as it always stops in a different place.

Not the best Ive tried at the price range
Two years ago I bought an Ecovacs robot vacuum, I have two fury dogs who shed all year long. I was very surprised to see how much my old vacuum picked up from my floors, it helped me tons. However, after a year and so later the battery started to die (I think it is the battery cause it wont run for more that 10min before dying). So, I decided to get a new one, I was going to go for another Ecovacs, but wasn't thrilled with the ideo of having to buy a new machine every year, seriously that is so much waste going to landfill that is not even just about the price. I looked for a new machine that would offer a longer warranty and that is why I bought the Bissell EV675. At first it looked very similar to my old vacuum, but after the first couple of times using I was very disappointed when I saw it kept leaving my dogs'fur behind. It is advertised as a cleaner for pet hair and it doesn't pick it up. Before it came I was setting my Ecovacs 3 or 4 times (better than nothing as annoying as it got) and it would still manage to fill the debris container in that short period of time, the Bissell runs for the full 100 minutes just to finish half full, and trust me, this is not because my floors are clean... I am returning it considering I ended up spending more than on my last one plus the insurance plan (to actually get the 3 year warranty).
