At Her Feet Review: Consultancy for female led partnerships - This book influenced my life. I realized there are female dominated partnerships in reality. I love the argument, it is definitely not unmanly to obey to your boss or manager, be it in business, military or sports, so why not have it in privacy? This book describes a man who obeys to a woman in his private life, she as his owner, he as her slave. On a voluntarily basis, relation could be parted or divorced, if not appropriate. This book doesn’t reveal bedtime stories or SM fantasies, it doesn’t even reveal sex stories. It is pure consultancy how to hold alive female-male long term partnerships, with the background of female domination. This book is not easy to read, as it is work to hold up a long term relationship. Communication, respect, emphasis, only to name three issues which are discussed here, as in any other vanilla relationship. On top of that you learn a little about rules (what is forbidden), protocols (how a man should behave) and rituals (daily reproduced actions) which help to hold a female led relationship alive. I started to introduce that in my own partnership, and my wife appreciates it. Review: Good resource for setting up and living a female dominant relationship - I recommend this book for someone that is interested in creating and living in one of the several forms of D/s (Dominant/submissive) relationship. The book is well written, with very few grammatical and formatting issues in an accessible writing style. This book offers advice on how to create and live within a mistress/slave relationship, based on the experience of the author and her current slave. The author is very specific about using the term “slave” and is explicit that this is the kind of dynamic that works for her and their relationship. There is an implication that other forms of dominant/submissive relationships are somehow inferior, and if the “slave” term offends you this can be hard to ignore. They discuss their own personal journeys and experiences as they discovered their affinity for this type of relationship. The author is polyamorous and briefly mentions some of her past relationships and how they worked for her, and eventually stopped working .In several parts of the book the author spends some time talking about how she has a high profile in the kink/fetish community how their M/s relationship supports that. In my opinion that is gratuitous but for me it was relatively easy to get past and didn’t take away from the value of the book. The appendix has some sample contracts which are often used to define and memorialize a M/s relationship, as well as a list of their version of the slave/submissive positions.

Femdom Book
While the book discusses a healthy M/S (mistress/slave) relationship I feel that all femdoms could benefit from reading this. While a D/S (dominant/submissive) may be your ultimate goal, this book discusses femdom and malesub in a very honest way. Both writers are educated, and focused on presenting a good product. I love how the Kindle version of the book where I can skip to footnotes effortlessly where TammyJo sources good books to further your femdom/malesub education. While the book does take a few chapters to really get to the point of discussing femdom the set up is well worth it. However, if you are a confident/experienced femdom who has experienced long term m/s relationships you may not enjoy this book as much as novice or beginner. This book at times can does have the feel of a self-help relationship book, but I enjoyed the fact it exclusively addressed the femdom set up.

Good and not pornographic
My review is tainted by the numerous typos that can litter Kindle books. They are annoying. This book is not pornography or erotica. It's also not a "how to" manual. It's simply a description of a particular Mistress/slave relationship through the lens of practitioners with personal experience and wide knowledge of what other like minded folks do in real life. It's about the mostly mundane life of a couple opting for a decidedly non-normative power relationship. For those considering a FemDom relationship or just entering one, it's a nice addition to the library. Nothing racy, no recipes, just "this is how W/we do it." And while erotic fantasy is fun, it has nothing to do with reality and this is a very nice antidote and reality check.

good info
love the ideas presented except the having other partners(for any reason); helps both partners understand needs and desires of the other and why this idea is important to them. can be taken overboard at times;

Real life M/s
This is just the sort of book I was looking for. Unlike 90+ percent of the guidebooks for Dommes I have seen this is not aimed toward fitting female domination into an existing relationship, usually because the man brings up submissive fantasies. TammyJo and Fox talk about how they met and formed their relationship while guiding the reader through some of the twists and turns of creating a workable M/s relationship. They include plenty of references to other reading for an expanded look into some subjects. Also included are sample contracts that TammyJo has used with Fox and others she has trained.

The editing is the worst I've seen - ever!
Based on the content I would have given this book a 5 star rating. But the editing/formatting of the kindle edition is simply so bad that reading the book is an exercise in agony. In most cases where a sentence starts with Th the "Th" is dropped. We have sentences where letters are dropped at random. The list goes on and on. Here are some examples: is " The - position 566 can t well - position 661 findingthe best - position 665 in theirminds or - position 893 when shewas introduced - position 939 get o on - position 1007 basis. at - position 1106 life. is proved - position 1144 There are MANY, MANY more examples in the book, practically not a page goes by that doesn't contain some kind of error. It's clear that whoever was responsible for publishing this for the Kindle didn't even bother to check their work and their sloppiness now reflects against what really is a very good book.

Great look at FDomme/msub as a relationship dynamic and the mindset of both parties. Not erotica or fantasy but honest advice for a loving relationship.

A little bit academic language but further on well written. Good that this sort of books can be bought here.
