Some good info, lacks focus
There is a lot of good info in here, but it is getting out of date. The copy editing was lazy with lots of typos, mis-spellings, and times where it would say one thing and then immediately contradict themselves. They would also give different numerical figures in the same paragraph. Focus was also fairly poor. I would not have been surprised if there was a "paint touch-up" section in this book about swapping engines. I bought it for light bedside reading, but I would either look for a different book, or just use the internet.

Good Insight
The book had a lot of great information. Well written and covered many of the issues involved with an LS swap. Been working on mine however not to the actual motor swap yet. But provided me with lots things I wasn't aware of. Sure it will save me a lot of headaches later. Im working on a 67 Nova so there was content not applicable to my build.

Good info
Bought this book hoping that it would provide some info on the LS1/T56 swap I'm planning, and it definitely did. While some of the info may seem like product ads, I think it actually provides some useful info on the differences between the products from different manufacturers. I especially liked that Eric provided a lot of good info about his particular swap, so this isn't so much a "generic" how-to. It gives some quality info about the hurdles he encountered and how he overcame them. I definitely recommend it.

Very Informative
My husband hasn't put this book down since receiving it! It's very informative and will be a great help in restoring a '71 Camaro!

Great book covering many parts of Camaro swap.
Love the book, they did a great job of covering many of the items that you need to do to complete an LS engine swap in a Camaro. The only thing I wish it had was more details on the sensor, intake, and other LS engine setup for us people that have limited to no experience with LS engines. I'm having to still look around online for info on what sensor I need, and the other stuff.

Great book. Covers many "Pro Touring" upgrades as well, which I believe most enthusiasts will enjoy. I know I did!
As a person who loves to research major jobs/projects before diving in, I really did love this book. It gives a great insight as to what is involved when one wants to install an "LS" engine into an older Camaro or Firebird. It prepares you for what I like to call the "snowball effect". Changing or upgrading to something usually has a chain reaction on everything else. That's not meant to scare people away, just prepare them for the inevitable. I've read the other reviews on this book, and I really don't think it ever deserves anything less than a 4 star.

Great book for 1st Gen F-Body fans
To date this is the single best resource I've found on the process of putting an LS into a 1st Gen F-body. Chapters are clearly laid out and seems to completely cover all of the different aspects of changing over to an LS with fuel injection. Great reference for the project I want to start soon.
