olloclip 4-in-1 Lens System - iPhone 6/6 Plus Gold Lens, One Size

I've had this thing for less than 60 mins and I'm ready to ship it back. I'm an avid Iphone6+ photographer (Instagram larsjones666) and was really looking forward to using this after hearing some good things about it on the web, but I'm really disappointed. Where should I start?1) It's a great idea, but like many great ideas just doesn't seem to carry over into any practical reality.2) It doesn't fit over any phone case; so if you're going to use this, then leave your case behind and risk your phone. Any 2-piece rigid case worth having won't just snap on and off instantly when you want to take a photo---and many photo ops happen "now". I take my iphone to some extreme environments and conditions and it's still in one piece thanks to my case. I'm not sure the "advantages" of olloclip are worth the risk of losing my iphone (yes I have a protection plan) and especially its content.3) It doesn't even fit over the screen protector, and it tore mine right off.... c'mon folks!! Maybe Olloclip should make a case that's compatible with its clip?4) With the clip attached, the iphone doesn't seem to sense correctly the ambient light and adjust the display intensity properly. You won't be able to toggle to the front camera with this attached5) My Iphone doesn't seem to autofocus as well, as quickly, or as sharply with this thing attached---especially with the macro lenses6) I like the fisheye lens, and I could do a lot with it, but it crops the corners off in photo mode. Still it might be the one lens worth using. The wide-angle lens seems like it's halfway between the iphone lens and the fisheye, but if you're going wide, then either go panorama or go fisheye.7) Shut your screen off before putting this on and taking it off...8) The focal distances with the macro lenses seem very close (<1"?), but the depth of field in outdoor light still seems like it is about the thickness of a sheet of paper. Moreover, it proved virtually impossible to get an acceptably sharp image with either macro lens---especially hand-held. Maybe it would work in a studio with a tripod but not in a real environment. If I'm going through the hassle of bringing a tripod, I might as well use my Nikon D7100. The whole point of this attachment is to expand the options of hand-held cellphone cameras! I can get better quality macro images simply by blowing up carefully shot hand-held iphone images on an editing app (see my Instagram feed---most of those are just simple iphone images processed with Instagram editing tools)So, in conclusion, if you're even halfway serious about camera-phone photography, skip the olloclip.

Great lense for the iPhone 6 plus. To clear some things up. 1) it does not scratch your screen, it may scratch a screen cover but not the actual iphone. 2) pictures and lenses are great quality with little to no decrease to pic quality. I bought an olloclip and an Mpow lense. You get what you pay for. The Mpow is much cheaper, but the picture quality is terrible and the lenses seem cheap. 3) it does suck that you can't have a cover on the phone, but to maintain the picture quality, I don't see anyway to make a lense that can fit all covers without compromising quality. If you know how too, then make one and become a millionaire. 4) it fits on the phone great and snug without moving around. If you want to see one that doesn't fit well, then buy a cheaper one too and see for yourself. And use the lense with their app and the lenses are even better. GREAT product. I highly recommend one. Spend the money, it's worth it!

This Olloclip 4-in-1 Lens For iPhone 6+ is a shocking disappointment for me. I had the Olloclip for the iPhone 5 and it was one of my favorite items. It did a great job of Macro photography.This new set for the iPhone 6+ is nothing like that one. Main issues: 1. Does not fit well. It's far too snug, goes on only with a lot of effort, tears up any screen protector you may have on your phone, and comes off only with great effort. I feel like I'm going to break my phone every time I put it on or take it off.2. It does not have nearly the optical clarity of my other Olloclip for iPhone 5. I don't know what happened to their quality control, but this image quality is awful.3. They took away the much needed "distance stabilizer" cups! Why would they take away the one thing that guaranteed you were shooting at the perfect distance from your subjects? It's nearly impossible to place the camera at the right distance from my photo subjects now. Examples are snowflakes. So easy to get macros of snowflakes with the old one. Now, practically impossible.I wish I had not paid so much for this product. I will be returning it for a refund.

I bought this for the iPhone 6s+. I'm giving it 2 stars for the simple fact that it does not mention in the advertisement that you have to slide the clip over for it to work with both Face Time camera and the main camera. If you go to the Olo clip website in the help section it describes it in detail. The instructions that came with the Olo Clip did not show this information. This clip also does not work with iPhone cases or bumpers and the protective screen we had also seemed to make it more difficult to use. However, the over all quality of construction of the product seemed very solid. I recommend checking the Olo website for your specific model phone to see if it will live up to your expectations.

Unfortunately you cannot have any type of case on your phone, even the slimmer kinds, plus it damages the screen protector if you have one. I wish they could find a way to adjust it to fit phone cases but I guess they haven't figured it out yet. I just hope that when I'm filming I don't drop my phone.

I was waiting on new Olloclip to come out for the new Iphones. I do like it however there are couple of down falls. One being that it ends up scratching and scuffing the iphone from putting it on and off. Second it isn't super secure when changing them out. Would have been cooler if they were attached magnetically and also if they could fit over a case for the Iphones. But other than that they are pretty awesome lenses.

Great quality product that can greatly extend the capabilities of your iPhone camera. The picture quality isn't quite the same as moment lens', hitcase or Zprime. But for this price the quality is great. If youre a photography need that wants a fun little inexpensive gadget then grab this. If you're thinking you can get some slr quality footage from your phone... You'll never get that. But it is a great fun product!I got this rather cheap in fact with a promotion on top of a warehouse price. It arrived fast and seemed as new. Come with three different colours of keying clips which are much sturdier than expected! Kept on my keys and have held up perfectly!I also attached the little felt bag too so it doesn't get scratched up by my other keys. The lens caps stay on great too!Really pleased!

i brought this product with lot of expectation totally waste of time and money photo not clear but it covering wide but put clarity very poor only two lense u can take photo balance two they saying after removing fish eye and wide angle u can see only blur it only two in one not 4 in one

Just buy a camera. Good but a bit of a faff getting it on and off particularly if you are using a protective case. I use Nikon DSLRs regularly and my iPhone camera almost as regularly and not that I am comparing this lens to a good quality kit lens, I simply mean the 'effects' are barely noticeable. I did like the macro afforded which isn't achieved just with iPhone, but I just got bored putting it on and taking it off all the time. Again this isn't a criticism of the product itself, just an observation from a regular hobbyist photographer.
