Very good
Due to a lack of planning, I actually ended up replacing new transmission fluid with this. I figured I would step up the lubrication a bit. I do not notice any difference in sound or function of the transmission, as it was already working very well, but I understand from reading on it this is about as good as you can get.

Expensive, but worth it?
I like all the positive things I read and hear about Royal Purple lubricants. I’m not a big fan of the outrageous price, but from what I understand it’s worth it. I decided to put it in the gearbox on my Evinrude E225 because they are known for failing under duress.
