BEST Winter Coat..... Hands Down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have to admit, I am very surprised at how well this coat is made. I purchased 2 other coats earlier this winter, but they just couldn't stand up to the cold. After reading all the reviews, I decided to purchase this coat.The packaging was nice, and the plastic bag the coat was wrapped in was a nice touch...... After shaking out the coat, the down fill fluffed out nicely and so did the fur on the hood. It looks EXACTLY like the photo but better in person. The blue is more of a medium royal blue than the lighter blue pictured. It's very lovely to look at :) The coat is 80% duck down and 20% water fowl feathers.The hood has pull cords on each side of the hood to make it smaller. I like all the pockets on the front and even has a pocket hidden in right sleeve. The inside pockets are amply made for large cell phones, and came with extra snaps and buttons.As far as the fit goes..... I was concerned about what some of the reviewers had posted this coat was running big, but after trying it on, my fears were laid to rest. I am a fairly small lady that stands 5'5" tall, weight 120 lbs and wear a size 3. The coat reaches down to the back of my knees. The zipper is easy to use, and the looped buttons are a nice touch. The sleeves are also down filled, and the thick knit cuffs with thumbs holes are a great feature, most winter coat manufacturers do not include . The back of the coat and sleeves have a narrow reflective strip which can easily be seen at night. What I like most about the coat is it's been coated with Scotch guard for stain/water resistance. It is wind resistant and rated for extreme cold winter weather. The fit is very comfortable with enough room for wearing a bulky sweater or hoodie underneath.**All in all, this coat is well made, it has weight to it, is warm and has all the features of the more expensive brands........ BUT at a fraction of the cost.** I would HIGHLY recommend this coat for any woman living in extremely cold climates wanting value, quality, durability and warmth.Update:After wearing this coat outside for almost a week, all I can say...... I LUV IT! Its really really warm and you CANT feel the cold wind!UPDATE 2: 10/14/18I can't give the maker of this coat enough credit. It's seen all types of weather from icy rain, snow and sleet, to sub zero temps(-50 windchill in Milwaukee WI) , it did exactly as claimed. It kept me warm and dry. Didn't feel the icy wind, nor did I need a heavy hoodie underneath the coat because it gets too warm...LOL

Good-looking, comfy, and WARM! A+++
I live in Minnesota, so you know I need a very warm coat. This is exactly the one I hoped it would be. It is warm, warm, warm -- I wore it just now in 25 degree F weather with a stiff breeze blowing. First I walked a mile wearing my usual warm winter pullover underneath: too warm. (!!) Then I walked another mile wearing a light silk tee shirt underneath and was perfectly warm. Verdict: this coat will be warm enough for the 20 below zero weather we'll have in January! The size is just right: I'm 5'6" and a size 10 and the medium fit perfectly. There's room for a thick sweater underneath if I should need one. The cuffs kept the wind from going up my sleeves, and the hood kept my neck warm. Others have said the hood is too big -- it is very roomy but I liked that. My thick winter hat fit under it, and in January I'll be able to protect my face within it. The blue color is lovely; bright enough to get me through the winter but deep enough to hide the grit from leaning up against the car or a light post. (Minnesota is very gray in the winter; a bright coat is such a pick-me-up.) I'm a very happy customer! - Which is not to say it couldn't be improved. The pockets aren't positioned to put your hands in comfortably: come on! And that dorky patch on the sleeve had to go immediately (five minutes with a seam ripper; right now I can see where the stitches were, but that will resolve in time, and no one else will notice). Personally, I'd prefer snaps to buttons because they're easier to fasten and unfasten when wearing thick mittens. But OMG to have a coat this good looking and did I mention WARM, I can put up with these relatively minor complaints. This coat is the real deal, and the price is great! If you live in a cold place you should buy it right now.

I've owned lots, and this is the best winter coat ever.
Whoever designed this coat should get a raise. I had purchased four coats online and all had to be sent back, and they were more than twice the cost. This coat is perfect for the cold windy days of dog walking in Northeast Ohio. Finally, a coat that has pockets for keys, poop bags, cell phone, gloves, and a coin purse if we stop for a latte on the way home from the park. The two way zipper seemed a little prone to stick at first, but after a few zips up and down it is easy to use and runs smoothly. It zips all the way up to include the well padded stand up collar, so no need for a scarf around the neck, unless you are wanting to make a fashion statement. Absolutely no cold air blows in even along the length of the zipper. The entire coat really is wind resistant. I have not had to button the storm flap yet. The knit cuffs are long, thick and keep my wrists and arms warm. Other coats I have had also had cuffs, but they were thin, short and useless. Overall it is not too heavy as some other coats I have had, and were not as warm. On top of everything else the red is a beautiful true red, not orangey, not pink, and not garnet. Thinking about getting the cobalt also because I love this coat so much and am afraid they may discontinue it in the future, and I don't want to be without one. Buy it, you won't regret it.
