They wrote me saying it works best if you place them in the light
they barely glow in the dark. They wrote me saying it works best if you place them in the light. lol um ok I am 45 I had many things as a kid that glows in the dark I still have those stars you can place on your celling that glow brighter then this and all I have to do is turn on the light for a little while and boom. these I did the same thing and when I turned the light off buzzzz nothing I think they guy that wrote me wanted me to stand next to a light source and hold the darn thing up to the bulb witch I did for 5 min and warped it around something to hold itself by the light.came back turned the lights off AND THERE was nothing I mean there was a glow but look at the picture advertised not even close. But what I found that works place them over the light with safety in mind don't want to burn anything, few hrs then go under the blankets or under your shirt for best results. but I did get the same affect as on the box and the advertised pic without doing all that other crap and fast ready.... Black light like a neon sign hmm kind of like the pic you sneaky guys you.well at least they refunded me so I went and got the LED cord BOOM!!

They are a little over 6 feet and that is why I bought the pink one. I does shine in the dark when previously expose to light for a while.The complaint that I have is that after about 6 months use the outside cable covering came loose from the mobile phone plug. How after about a year I am not sure it is working.

Mine didn't glow :-(
The main reason that I'm giving this even 4 stars is because so far it does do it's job well & pink is my favorite color !! The glow factor wasn't so good.The Color Cables Co.did send me a replacement, which was very nice of them because my first color cable didn't glow at all.Unfortunately the second color cable they sent glowed only for a very short time.I wouldn't buy these again for the price I paid.

GLOWS
This is a great cord. The glow in the dark feature has been quite helpful as this cord is in my bedroom and is often needed in the middle of the night. The connection to my devices is quite sturdy. Many other cords I have used the connection is wobbly. Once this one is connected it takes a good pull to disconnect the two. I like the extra length on the cord also as it gives me more flexibility without there being too much extra cord. The only negative I have is that the cord is very stiff.

I was expecting the cord to glow in the dark, but setting in my car not enough sunlight reaches it. It is not as sensitive to absorbing light as other products

too much money for a USB cable
It hardly glows. I thought it was two cables, but I received only one. I guess the picture denotes non-glowing and then how it glows. $16.95 is way too much money for one USB cable. If I wanted to pay 3 times the value of a USB cable, I would have gone to a local big-box store. I thought the glow came from being activated by connecting, but you have to leave it under a bright/sun? source to activate the glow. Save your money.

It was a great charger for the past six months
It was a great charger for the past six months, it worked really well, then it just stopped working. It was a big disappointment.
