NAOTFootwear Women's Alana Sandal

I own a pair of these sandles from a few years ago and loved them. I was hoping for the same fit this time. However, the pair I ordered were much wider.

I have other Naot sandles in the same fit category...these are for narrow to medium feet. However, the elastic band across the top has a seam over the toes that rubbed uncomfortably. These would have given me blisters had I attempted to break them in, while waiting for them to stretch. So I guess I will have to stick with leather uppers. For size info, I am a 7.5B shoe size, and the 39 fit me just right. These are cute, but not as dressy as some have described, and there is a bit of a foot slap sound as I walked, but that doesn't really bother me, tho I've seen others describe it as annoying. To me, a foot slap sound is ok if they are comfortable and look prettier than the Birkenstocks I've overworn.

The shoe was not the quality I expected. The stretch fabric over the foot was not snug and firm. It actually stretched and wrinkled after wearing an hour or so. I threw away the box and wrappings so will keep them. I wouldn’t recommend this shoe.

This is my second pair of Naot sandals. I liked the first pair so much I almost immediately wanted to try another style in this brand. I wear a size 11 which translates to a European 42. The first pair of Naots I ordered were in size 42 and it just fine. This particular style runs quite small. Despite ordering a 42, these probably fit about a whole size smaller than my other pair and, sadly, these are not made in a 43. Very cute sandals, however, and regret having to send them back.

The left shoe fits good. I have narrow feet and the right shoe is a little loose.

Footbed is very comfy. But i have a difficult time with any shoe fitting properly due to 5 surgeries on my feet. So, tho i like the support, the top across toes is too narrow / tight. I will have to return these .

I have 3 pairs of Naots and have worn the brand for 7 years. I have another pair of the Alana sandal in a 41 black. This pair of Beige size 41 is NOTHING like the ones I have. Poorly made..the fabric is bunchy and thick and doesn't lay well . The shoes are not cut in a generous 41 as are the other pairs I have purchased. The outer sole is not made the same either and the shoes are not padded well or comfortable to walk in. The sole is NOT flexible as are my other shoes. A terrible disappointment as I am leaving on vacation and planned to take these with me. I am glad there is free return shipping. I have them boxed and packed and they are going back.

I loved these shoes but they were too big, or will be when they stretch. I walked around my house for a few days and felt like they may come off several time. However I do have a narrow foot so if your foot is wider they would be great. I loved the look and the footbed is awesome too.
