I paid a little more for this than other products but glad I did. The quality of the materials and ease of installation make it worth the couple extra dollars. I don’t think it’s possible for this to get wet inside, unless you blast it with a hose. It’s on the side of my shed facing the prevailing wind and does great at keeping the inside dry. This is important with an outdoor outlet. Don’t forget to use a GFI, just in case it does somehow get wet inside.

If you're looking to install an outdoor receptacle or switch, you won't find a better enclosure. I've installed nearly a dozen of these at three homes. And I simply won't use anything else. The design is flawless , they look great, and most importantly, they function at the highest level. Oh, and they super easy to install. Yes, they are more expensive than other options. But as the old saying goes, you (really do) get what you pay for.

The look of this box is great on my stucco. It was easy to install and assemble. The size is great, the color is perfect. The plastic seems like it is going to hold up, and protect the box just fine.

Less expensive than most big box store options and does allow for installation on existing siding without much siding removal.. Not hard to install with an oscillating multi tool.. While it does provide an in-use weatherproof exterior outlet now required by many US towns, it won't be able to fully lock closed with many straight plug, outside rated heavy extension cords you'll probably want to plug into this outlet. There is a groove for the cord exiting the cover, but it's not enough to stop many straight plug cords from closing. Also, the design is deep, but that makes it harder to line up and plug in your cord hard enough to fully seat.

Worked great to add an outside outlet to my garage. Everything you need and decent instructions made it easy to add an outlet. Good weather protection. Very happy with my choice.

5 stars!! Incredibly easy to install, looks fantastic and if you cut the whole properly you can simply seal the recessed box and save the separate trim piece for other projects. My goal was to have an outdoor receptacle as flush as possible with the front of my house that remained weatherproof while having cords plugged into it. This item far exceeded my expectations, and my lifetime electrician father is even impressed with it. I purchased the gfci outlet separately which made the whole project a little pricier ($35 all in) yet it's worth every penny as it looks superior to a surface mounted outlet! 10/10 would recommend!!!

Really good fit! Everything was as advertised. Works great with new construction, you can't add this to existing siding. Sturdy construction, with a strong spring on the cover.

This product is great. I didn't need to use the flashing part but knowing that everything, including multiple face inserts for decora, the older style North American plugs, and one that looks like a 6-30 type single round plug. The template worked perfect. Lots of room to put a receptacle in. I squeezed a receptacle with USB ports in there and had to pay attention to getting the wires situated so there was enough room but it worked. New work or old work this is good. I bought two.
