Simple roofing
We have an 8' x 20' porch that had had a leaky roof, so I decided it was a project I could do by myself. Fortunately, I found these Ondura things. Didn't want to work with metal, and I'm no pro at this sort of thing, so regular asphalt shingle wasn't going to cut the mustard. After I got the old roofing material off, and was down to the plywood, I put down some ice & water shield (and that was super easy.) Then it was time for these shingles. I did an overlay of 2 ridges, used a marker to make sure my lines were straight, and the whole shingling job was done in 2 hours. Yes, I would recommend this product!

Mostly satisfied!
This was a replacement job. I used Ondura to roof our home back in the early 2000's. It was billed to outlast regular shingles. It did not live up to that.It is easy to use (even doing it solo) & looks great. It still looks great where shade is most of the day, but sunny areas were completely degraded.I could not find my receipt to check on warranties, so I did not contact the company.
