GREAT TO HAVE A BETTER QUALITY DASH CAM
I bought one other brand before ,the quality was really bad . My friend suggest me to buy this one. it is make a very big difference. Product is so true to what it advertises, I have the video on whenever I was driving through last whole week. I love the clearly mirror and the quality of the dash cam. Video recorded any witness discrepancy every time! .it is easy to install and it is very convenience to carry with me .The mirror is nicer than the stock rear view mirror in a lot of cars . It would be nice if the makers relocate the power plug on the side of the mirror.

BLOWN AWAY by this system for my Wrangler ! BUYING ANOTHER for my Grand Cherokee!
TO SAY I WAS BLOWN AWAY BY THIS SYSTEM DOESN'T DO IT JUSTICE.ME:57 yr old scandahoovian Data Scientist with several Jeeps, NONE of which came with backup cameras :-|VEHICLES:2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited - this was my guinea pig and it was both fun & simple2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee - this is what I'm buying the SECOND unit for, I was THAT PLEASED with the FIRST !WHAT HAPPENED:- At $36 total for 2 HD (1080p) cameras and a mirror with a MASSIVE touchscreen, I was as skeptical as anyone;- packaged arrived in less than 1 week :-)- WELL-packaged, GREAT quality - you could tell soon as you held it in your hand :-)- STRAPPED-ON the mirror to my Wrangler mirror in 1 minute flat,- PLUGGED it in to the front (key-on) lighter;- STARTED Jeep, and...-- THE MIRROR BOOTED-UP instantly, and was STUNNING !-- even my daughter with a newer van and newer Outback was IMPRESSED at the quality of the front camera !-- the touch screen was instantly understandable; I never had to read a single page.NOW COMES THE PART EVERYONE FEARS & LOATHES - INSTALLING THE REAR BACKUP CAMERA- I ended up choosing to mount it on the clip-on window glass hinge cover (works GREAT!)- took about 2 minutes to carefully drill some small holes and mount camera, then snap back onto hinge- next: running from front mirror, around windshield, down under dash, to floor, under floor to back...... and ran out of wire :-| . REALLY need about 2 more feet for just about any car :-|- ORDERED another perfectly-matching replacement wire for $7.99; ARRIVED NEXT DAY :-)- SPLICED about 3 feet of this replacement wire on using only a sharp pocket knife and a $1 roll of electrician's tape (red wire to red wire, yellow to yellow, white to white, green to green - it was genuinely effortless)- FINISHED drawing the big wire under the carpet along the driver's side the whole way.- NOTE: IN ALL FAIRNESS, this is EFFORTLESS in a Jeep Wrangler because the flooring carpet pieces are MEANT to be pulled out - they're NOT glued down at all !!- HERE COMES THE HARDEST PART: CONNECTING THE RED POWER LINE TO THE BACKUP LINE POWER LINE-- turned out to be SUPER EASY:--- unscrewed 4 screws and took off the driver's rear taillight--- had daughter start Jeep and put into Reverse--- watched which bulb (white) lit up for "Reverse"--- shut off the Jeep,--- used sharp pocketknife to scrape a small circle round the white&green power wire to that bulb--- stripped off about 1 " of the red power wire going to the camera--- twisted the 1" of bare red power wire around the bare circle on the white&green wire--- taped everything over with electrician's tape--- reinstalled tail light--- plugged the now-installed cable into the rear camera, and into the mirrorSTARTED the Jeep...SHIFTED into Reverse...LIKE MAGIC, the Mirror came on and AUTOMATICALLY SWITCHED TO BACKUP CAMERA !!!SWIPED across the touchscreen...LIKE MORE MAGIC, switched to FRONT camera !!!WOULD-BE SHOPPERS FOR BACKUP CAMERAS... you can STOP LOOKING.THIS is what you've been seeking.I've only written about 10 Product Reviews in my entire 57 years on this planet.5 of them were NEGATIVE, and well-deserved.4 of them were "good", so I took the time to write.THIS ONE REVIEW is taking me 10 minutes, and I even took the time to upload PICTURES, because this system is SO good you really need to give CREDIT where credit has been EARNED.That's these guys.OFF to buy another system now for my Grand Cherokee.- Mark in North Aurora IL

Be aware of your mirror to roof gap before buying this
Ordered the dash cam after reading a technical review webpage. Excited to get the package finally and installing right away, but found the dash cam is designed to be placed out of of the car mirror. We have a Mercedez C300 where there is very little gap between the car mirror to the top, and what was not helping was the camera's power cord and 2nd camera plug are all put on top of the camera plate. We tried very hard, almost broke my mirror and can not find enough gap to put in the cable head. You will need at least 1 inch from your car mirror to the roof to accommodate the power cord and 2nd camera plug.We finally found another cable with a L shaped connector and barely connected the dash camera. The picture quality if very good but still several problems:-it affects car radio pretty bad. I listen to Bloomberg radio AM1130 and with the camera working, there is so much noise I can not hear the radio. I unplug the camera, the radio becomes clear-it can not show two camera on the same screen-it does not work with lower speed TF card. initially the touch screen does not work, we took out the TF card, and it worksUnfortunately, we would be returning the product. We also found we just bought it two weeks ago for $49 and seller lowered price to $35. Not happy about that if they were planning to reduce price but not letting us know and still ship the product to us, but that is not affecting the product review.

Good quality for the money but annoying features.
This is a mirror for a specific user. 1, the mirror is huge, yes it has a big video screen but the mirror doesn’t need to be as big as it is. 2 the forward facing camera is ALWAYS ON unless u shut the screen off manually or set the timer for it to turn itself off (just the screen not the whole unit) and you only have minutes as options not seconds or not at all. 3, the rear camera will turn on when in reverse when wired correctly, but then the forward cam once again stays on after going forward Again and must be shut off manually. 4, the rear cam doesn’t have a great picture, mine is a little blurry. It is also hard to position with the supplied mount. I have an extended cab ford ranger and just enouph wire from rear cam to mirror. A head phone jack style extension cord would be needed if it’s not long enouph for your vehicle (or splice your own). So I have zero need to see the forward facing cam in the mirror at all, I could see a taxi/ubber driver using that feature since the forward facing cam can be turned to monitor the back seat, it’s just always on and I’m dissapointed. Maybe if there was a auto screen off setting after 10 seconds or somthing I could deal with that.
