A Hundred Million Suns

Musically, this is obviously a great album. The vinyl version has some issues, however. It's nice and heavyweight, but slightly warped, the hole is slightly off-center, and the stickers are hastily placed. It doesn't seem to affect the playback, but I found it odd to issue a release on nice heavy vinyl, but with sub-par quality control, especially at this price.

This is one of my top ten favorite albums, so when I sprung for the vinyl I was immensely disappointed when both records came considerably warped. I couldn't play them on my turntable even if I wanted to suffer through the distorted version of such a masterpiece.Doubly disappointed because I bought the album as part of a best friend's wedding gift (along with a new turntable) in hopes to invite the newly weds over and surprise them, as it is also one of the bride's favorites. This kinda spoiled the moment.These must've been stored or shipped very poorly. Take caution when ordering--maybe you'll be luckier than me.

Really and excellent album all round. The music is great and varied with no bad track on the entire album.

Beautiful album, but slightly warped.

Spectacular album - enjoyed immensely on vinyl as it made me enjoy the whole story Snow Patrol was trying to share. Find on my CD and even iTunes that I skip songs. Originally purchased a mid-tier turntable to get back into vinyl as another way of enjoying my music. Did act like a novice - or perhaps this is rare - but bought this album one time. Played it - sounded awful and slow. Returned it thinking something was wrong. All the full size albums I have ever had (hundreds) play @33 1/3 RPM. Bought album again - important album to me (Amazon returned the first one no problem) When I received the album again I looked all over it for RPM. No markings but went ahead and played it at 45RPM - worked and sounds like a champ on my Project Carbon turntable. Very cool - felt foolish on the speed but wanted to share in the event you have the same

Great Album purchased for my wife, Excellent sound quality with a wide deep soundstage, only surprise was the speed 45 RPM as there is no indication on the Sleeve or centre label. not so long ago this would have been a pain as my Turntable only had 33RPM without an adapter, a reference in the description to record playing speed would be helpful

Great vinyl, quick delivery very happy

I already had the CD, and the Digital Download for this album, but I'm a self admitted fan boy of this group for years now. I just got into Vinyl with my first record player, and I had to add this to my starting collection. Shipping was slow, but it looks like that's a common thing with Records on Amazon, I'm hoping it will get better with Records coming back in, and more people ordering. But this album...perfect!Make sure you give the album a good cleaning (as you should always do) before listening. As it will come with some dust from the paper sleeves.

Ich hab mir die CD wegen "Take back the City" gekauft. Eyes open finde ich ein wenig besser, dennoch kann ich jedem empfehlen die CD zu kaufen.
