Nad's Natural Sugar Wax Kit, Vegan Hair Removal with Reusable Strips, 170g

Omg, look if you're new to waxing it will hurt. But my previous sugar wax was not in stock. I have waxed for 20 years. This smaller jar came. I thought rip off. I was scared to use. Yes the was was thick, so I did the 10 sec recommended. Wow, this little jar done more that most. I did my legs, brizilan, arms eyebrows, mastash, everywhere you can think. There is loads more. It was better than my previous sugar wax. I think I found my new favourite. No bleeding of strong hair. I wish someone would have told me about this product before. And the soap. Yes great idea. No one else does this. And yes we all make mistakes. But the soap was there to sort it out. I love this product. It is amazing. Thank you. Pain free waxing. And my hairs were long. That is the worst time to wax it makes you bleed. I have had no bleeding. And afterwards. My leg were silky soft. This is an amazing product. For new waxing people. I feel this to be the best to use. It will hurt. But, this product. I wish I had it 20 years ago. As for old waxers. Gosh, never felt my skin so smooth. Not the dry hard feeling. It felt like solon wax. And BTW, there was stl half the jar left. Amazing it goes so far. Really impressed x

Super product! I love the idea of waxing but I could never wax successfully and stress free (I first started with Veet strips, that left bruises on my skin and was a nightmare to clean up afterwards. I then found and tried sugar wax recipes online: they worked really well, but they take so much time for an uncertain result). I was looking for something that was healthy, easy to use and cheap, and found it all in this kit! The added touches of sustainability with the cotton strips and just the natural recipe made this even more perfect. As I explained, I’m really not a pro in waxing and had maybe done it like 4 times in my life before trying this, and I managed to use it with no problem. Works perfectly on the legs (as seen in my beautiful picture). A bit less perfect on the armpits, and I bled a little but that’s because my hair had become so thick from all the shaving so I’m not too worried about that, pretty sure the next few times will be fine. I am yet to try on my bikini area but I’m looking forward to it (whereas I dreaded this part with other waxes). One pot of wax can probably last for only one waxing of each of these accumulated body parts (so both legs, armpits as well as bikini in total once). The only negative point that I have found is that since the strips and applicators are reusable, I don’t really need to buy the full kit again, but I can’t seem to see an option of just buying the sugar wax for my next “session”. It would be a shame if I always had to buy the full kit, as the whole point of it is that its components are reusable. The other small issue was just that my room temperature was never enough so I had to go heat up the wax a few times during use, but I assume that it’s because of the general UK weather (I believe this is an Australian product so it’s normal that their room temperature is hotter).

It was a great product however very painful from the receiving end. Came with a lot of extras inside and was easy to wash off the wash strips that are reusable, however be mindful the fabric on the edges does come undone and may end up with streams of seams on the side I wouldn’t give it to your partner who has a grudge against you is all I would say 😂

I’ve used wax for years and never had any problems. This wax doesn’t pull any hair out - I used it on my underarm as normal, pulled off the wax strip to find the wax had been removed, but hair still left in place. Instructions followed fully. Amazing customer service took me round in circles when I went to return the item

I don't want to spend tons money in salons anymore, and £60 for a wax is a lot! So, I thought I'd try home waxing again, although I seem to remember past experiences with strips haven't been great. But this comes pretty cheap and with good reviews so I thought I'd give it a bash. Ok, it's very sticky. Next time I'll heat it a bit but it's OK to spread once you get the hang of it, plus the current heat wave probably helped too. The wax did my legs ok and I was able to reuse the strip a good few times. Pretty much painless as you can pull the skin really taut and the hairs all grow in the same direction. Bikini line. Fine, a slight pain but very manageable and far less than I'd feared. Took out all the hair but this time spreading was hard. The wax became very sticky and I couldn't reuse the strip more than once or twice. Also, here it's OK to pull the skin firmly enough to ease the pain and get good results. Once I started sweating from the effort, heatwave, perceived pain etc, my skin became a bit wet and waxing became impossible as you need dry skin to do this. Labia and underarms. It says on the packet to really look carefully what direction the hair grows (and not do your genitals, ahem). That's an impossible task in these places - as is to get the skin taut enough. Hair still remains there but at least I've got nice legs and can wear bikini bottoms with confidence! I've rinsed the strips with warm water and they're as good as almost new - the edges fray a lot. I'd say this is a great product for the money, especially for the bikini line and legs. However, you can't really get a Brazilian with this, in case that's what you were hoping for.

I have been staring at this for a while. I was a bit unsure if I could do it. Then I put on my big girl pants and started it. It was easy to use and by the end I have learned to use it correctly too. I love that I could wash the wax off the strips. I hope that I can buy the wax without buying the whole kit as well. The waxing was not too painful. However if you are hoping to practice sugaring techniques this product is not for you.

I am too lazy to write reviews…..but this time I really feel the need to I have spent a load of money on different home waxing products but always found them rubbish and ended up back at a salon. Spending a wasted evening doom scrolling and saw an add for this stuff. Was really cheap so though why not. My legs are gross and as i said lazy, so hadn’t booked a salon appointment since two months ago (it was a jungle down there). Arrived quick (ok that obvious it is prime) so had a go this morning and it blooming brilliant. Easy(ish) to apply and easy to rip off (allowing for squealing) and my legs are so smooth. Where I actually got the hairs total salon quality. I however not so much so, so a few stragglers but as this is my new way to wax I am sure my application will improve. Highly recommended

Throughout this quarantine season I have tired out three different waxing techniques to give my self a full Brazilian wax that would mimic the one I get at the salon. The 1st one: Veet body waxing strips- a huge flop. They would not grip on to the skin properly and were a huge waste of time. Because they didn’t grip the hair properly, the hair snapped at the root (no roots were seen) practically mimicking shaving, and caused me to have Severe bumps that were worse than any I had ever gotten with shaving; the hair also grew back within a week. Secondly I used the Nads Brazilian and bikini wax (hard wax no strips)- this was horrific. I wax was either too soft and rip when I was pulling it off (very painful on the lady region) or too hard to pull off and nearly took my skin with it. It was also imposible to remove if spread too thin; basically there was no room for mistakes! Finally I discovered this wax after reading a list of top at home waxing kits, and it has been the best one I have used so far. I will be sticking with it and may not even go back to the salon. It definitely works better when warmed up and they should probably include more strips, but the strips are ‘reusable’ and if you do run out you can always just cut up an old t-shirt. 100% would highly recommend this product

Comes with reusable cloth strips, lots of applicators, and a soap to prepare your skin as well as the sugaring compound. Best to use the product without heating it up - just be patient and let your skin heat it up to make it easier to spread. Also don't double dip with the application sticks or it contaminates the sugar and the product deteriorates.

First time sugar waxing. It was easy to do on my legs! My leg hair was a little longer than recommended length... did great. Easy clean up. Pain was minimal/ very tolerable for legs. And Legs were hairless for two weeks after. I will be purchasing this again. However...I also tried it on my armpits. 🤦‍♀️ It was painful and didn't work. I was sore the next day. I thought maybe the hair isn't long enough. I waited a week and retried...even had my husband help me. It was comical. Still didn't work and was even more painful. If you have thin armpit hair maybe it'll work for you. 🤷‍♀️

Over priced, still we bought it thinking that it will work When we used it, 90% of time its not sticking... even if its get stick, hair is not getting removed.. Totally a waste of money... So, please dont try your luck on this product.

I used it on my lip, chin, and brow. If you've ever had waxing done in the salon, you are familiar with the process, just repeat it with this product. The instructions are very clear. The wax is very sticky, much like honey but once you get comfortable with it, it's fairly easy to apply and removes most of the unwanted hair. The brow is a bit tricky and will take some practice and the overall result is not as thorough as the hot wax from the salon, but certainly worth the investment for in-between cleaning. My skin reaction was not as severe as after the salon either.

i got this bc it was cheap and i was in a pinch. i regret it so bad! i typically use another brand that’s a bit more expensive and now i see why. this wax is such a horrible quality compared to my favorite. the wax took longer than normal and it was so bad. my skin was so irritated (not normal for me) and i broke out in those spots. I WAXED MY VAGINA AND I BROKE OUT. EVERYWHERE. not a place where i want that. I also did not learn my lesson and then did my pits. WORSE! i have a pimple that looks like a nipple and it hurts SO BAD. i’m never going cheap bc clearly i pay for it in pain. so sad bc i did like the set! the wooden sticks are so handy and the cotton wax strips! but the wax is the issue in my opinion. this brands wax strips are better though i have used those no issue.
