Bandai Hobby Banshee Norn (Unicorn Mode) High Grade Universal Century Figure Model Kit

This build is a nightmare! Well, that depends on your luck in cutting the pieces from the trees. In this case, with the darker frame you will have to deal with a ton of nub marks. My clippers must be getting dull, because before I didn't have so many edges. Also you will have to paint the mane. I tried the stickers for the folded up mane, and it looks terrible. The stickers do work on the shark fin like mane part that sticks out. You can also split it to hold the rifle on the backpack. For the mane, I got a Gold Gundam marker, painted it, and looks awesome!!! There are alot more gold stickers for the legs to attenuate the vents on the kit, which do make it stand out nicely. Pose-ability is fair, limited by the bulky armor design. You get 2 beam sabers, 4 beam handles, the rifle with missile launcher, and the big armored armor shield that is folded up. You also get extra parts molded in the Banshee colors such as a Unicorn head, single fin, chest, and neck area piece. A bonus and the main reason why I bought this kit, is that you get the armored claw that opens slightly! You can exchange this out with the Banshee 1/144 HG kit!

At least a lot more than its destroy mode relatives and no parts so far no parts have fallen offThe consSTICKERS! STICKERS EVERYWHERE! Yeah this is is one big reason why this isn't recommended for beginners as the sticker placement is really tricky and start falling off only after a day but they do look okay but paint is still recommended. The shield connection is also very loose because of its massive size. But really all you have to worry about are the stickers.VerdictOverall a great kit for intermediate to advanced especially to those who like the design P.S. this set also includes a POSABLE vn claw for the previous banshee destroy mode release which on the banshee is a static piece so if you want to pose the claw just as seen on the ova you will have to get this, which is an interesting marketing tactic from bandai

Well I usually buy the destroy NT-D Mode of the Unicorn Gundams but after my HGUC Banshee Destroy broke for no reason(Literally was just on the shelf and next morning arm peg was busted)I wasn't sure what to do and after seeing the Norn in episode 6 I was curious how the kit held up. Now I gotta say im taking a liking to the whole lion mode rather than Gundam mode. ( FYI it is called LION, In the light novel manga the Banshee is not a unicorn like its brother. its idea is the lion instead SPOILER ALERT: Laplace Box is guarded by the white unicorn( Unicorn Gundam) and the Black Lion ( Banshee Gundam)Now back on track I am insanely impressed! Detail is crazy, Durable and includes a variant option to make the mange design ( all Black 100% identical version to the Unicorn Gundam) and has Beams. You also have the option to have a concealed pack or the Norn mod which is nice. Stickers are annoying but if you paint like me its great for it, tho I suggest a Real Grade style with different shades of Black and blue to break the plain black design. I am really disappointed with this kit. As I was building it I realized it’s very immobile. I really like 1/144 gundams from 170 line because they are better quality. This is a 153 and there’s such a big difference I would say this is 2nd worst kit for me. My own opinion, No slander it’s fact.

This is a great kit! The open claw is not intended for this kit, but it works well with this kit. My only complaint is the ball joint hips, but they make sense for a larger, heavier kit like this. Since this is a variation on a Unicorn kit there are extra parts left over, but it helps you test your painting before you put it on a part that matters.

The result is more or less exactly what's shown on the images, but the overall kit and build experience kind of felt flat to me. Nothing special to write home about. Having the gold parts on the backpack lined with stickers kind of felt cheap, but I guess it's required to meet the low price point

Was packaged nearly and it assembled nicely; definitely my favorite high grade by far.

facile da montare istruzioni anche se sono in giapponese sono chiarissime...adatto anche ai piu piccoli in presenza di un adulto visto che bisogna comunque usare delle tronchesine per rimuovere i pezzi dal supporto....ma BANDAI è superiore come dettagli e qualità ...consigliatissimo

classico modello bandai niente da dire a chi li conosce sono praticamente della stessa fattura. a chi no le conosce sono ottimi modelli economici per iniziare la strada del modellismo e/o di una piccola collezione !!! si possono montare senza colorarli ma colorati sono tutta un'altra cosa.

Costo contenuto (solo 20€) e qualità ottima. In quanto a punti di snodo e dettagli siamo appena sotto i real grade, stessa grandezza ma con diversi dettagli in meno, soprattutto riguardo gli adesivi da aggiungere che qua sono lo stretto necessario. Prodotto da acquistare in ogni caso.
