It's also very interesting that she becomes dragonkin. The Great Icaral is something I hope we will see. The prophecy says that the Black Witch will face the Great Icaral, and I hope things turn out ok. Poor Sage's family is in a hard spot. There's a ton of cruelty in this world. Lots of commentary on tolerance and peace, too.Uncle Edwin, the gentle violin maker, makes a huge difference in how Elloren gets to live her life. She can resist Wandfasting before she's ready.

Congratulations to Laurie Forest for this amazing series. It’s difficult to find such an interesting and exciting author who not only writes intelligently but also provides top rated plots, characters and excitement in the stories. I’m really looking forward to the next book.

Every new story that unfolds within this series has me delighted and grateful that I stumbled upon this author and the magic in The Black Witch Chronicles.

I love me a good series. One that pulls you in and you don't want to stop reading. I will definitely be getting the rest of the series. The characters are amazing. Spell gripping good story telling.
