BAI 1009 Contemporary Toilet – One Piece Dual Flush Soft Close Seat

First of all I want to state that I have been doing construction work for over 18 years, I actually had to fire contractors because they don't perform to my standards, I am now an architect so I have a broader understanding of UL standards, ASTM specs, etc.At a glance, the toilet is very solid and is built very well at the contrary to what someone else may have written. I believe contractors many times are in good with construction yard suppliers, showrooms, etc. Also, they get special discounts and oftentimes inflate their receipts so that they can overcharge poor customers for a products supplied by them, hence, I am generally stating that anyone who listens to what a contractor says should do some research about products and take what they say with a grain of salt, they are not rocket engineers, research the actual product durability, and compare to store bought items, put them side by side, measure, feel, use your common sense before listening to what someone else says.This toilet is better than most you would buy at your average home improvement store, last year I purchased an American Standard toilet which is a more modern looking toilet like this one, but has sensor flush. It's a good toilet but does not hold comparison with this one due to design/solidity, besides, I had to replace the actuator on it once already. So, do not believe the common contractor brand names are necessarily better than what you may find on Amazon, and unless your contractor is installing a "TOTO" toilet and you are building or renovating a high end custom residential home, this toilet is better than most you would purchase for a an equal amount anywhere at the poorly stocked various Home Depots. Lowes', lumber yards, etc.Is built solid, the lid is fastened with brushed aluminum hardware unlike cheap plastic slide crap you get with the ones you buy, the connection points are well machined and all the tolerances are on point. Will save room also because it does not employ the usual backward thinking tank all the other standard you buy locally toilets which are just boring. So, I give it a full five star review, I think most people with some design sense will see quickly this is a deal for what you pay, and besides, you don't have to go pick it up!! They deliver it right at your front door or inside your garage, buy with confidence!

Bought two of them based on the sleek design and good reviews. I was a little bit concern when someone mentioned about the water level dropping overnight. well, the two of them have no issues at all, the seat cover it's sturdy, very good quality and with the metal plates holding it, looks elegant. it looks better than the pic. Yes, installation its a little bit more difficult due the tight space than regular toilets to screw it against the floor (if you have fat fingers) but well, its worth it, planning on getting another one to replace the guest bath.

For someone who have installed many toilets in less than 5 minutes, this one took two hours. The access hole at the side is too small to get your fingers in to install the nut onto the bolt coming up from the ring. The side access hole should be made a little bigger, besides that it is a very elegant piece.

Very stylish, looks slim and modern, the flushing knobs on top are cool, the water flushing inside the toilet is very efficient, it starts at the top and wraps around in a circular fashion from the top downward hence it picks up everything. Highly recommended over the run of the mill toilets out there, you'll love this one

Fits American for the flooring, however, it did not fit for the water pipe from the wall.It would have been VERY HELPFUL to have pictures of the backside.WAY TOO expensive to return......BUYER BEWARE

I really like this toilet for the it looks, very comfortable, have not had a problem with flushing.The set up took about 15 minutes more since this is the first one I had change.

Very pleased. After two months, the toilet is still beautiful, sturdy, and has a powerful flush.

A pain to install!!! But that's not even the worse part! Make sure you buy a plunger cause your going to need to use it a lot with this one. Plus the seats are super tuff to move up and down. I can't say enough bad things about this. It's looks pretty neat but I completely regret this purchase! You have been warned....
