This book has given me the tools to finally study the Bible and understand it. I have struggled with wanting to read the Bible because it can be so hard to understand. Melissa gives you the tools you need to really dig deep into God's word and study it by looking at it in smaller sections and making it easier to understand. I was able to memorize Psalm 19:7-14 and that's something I never had the patience to do before! I had the pleasure of not only reading this book but taking this bible study with her and she has a passion and a love for other women to know Christ and spread His word! You won't be disappointed in this book!

Amazingly talented writer. This book will help a student of Scrioture develop a self-guided system of Bible study. For teachers it gives good warnings of tendency to be inconsistent and shallow in study.

This book clearly outlines how faithful reading and understanding of God's Word is "doable" for novices, busy women and faith seekers. I liked its humor and gentle voice, its passionate and structured teaching as well as its encouraging "you can do this!"spirit. I will make use of this book personally and in discipling.
