This product really does work well!! I am using it for fish flakes to feed two of my fishy’s while I am away for the weekend. I Was able to easily set it up and correct the portion size for my fish. I like that it has a test feature so that you can feed the little guys and see how much comes out.

Bought this to feed my fish while on a one week vacation . It works well . Mounting it to my tank was more of a problem . I got it to work . Not made for a tank with a partially formed top .

the two I bought just stopped working. I go through the setup phase on each of them again and they still refuse to dispense when they are suppose to, never know if my fish will get food at their allocated times or not. how sad. they are also very stupid in how you program them. you can NOT pick a time of day like all the others let you do.

Very easy to use. I feed my fish flakes and it has been feeding 7 fish for over a week now great for vacations just fill it up and get the right portion size. The portion size does need to be adjusted the less the container is filler.

This automatic does what it’s advertised to do, however, there are two issues worth noting.1) when dispensing food, the chamber spins very fast, literally tossing much of the food out of range of the tank. If you can position it in a way where the food can be thrown several inches out, this wouldn’t be an issue, but I have a cover so it’s difficult to position the food chamber in a place that works well.2) the bigger problem I have is the food chamber itself. It is very easy to pop out and refill, however, if it is anywhere close to the water (mine is positioned about four inches above the water surface) moisture easily gets in the food chamber. This became a problem within the first week of use for me.The last thing I’ll mention is that the “start” button is very firm. I thought this would be a good thing, but it does take some pressure to use, which often pushes the entire unit down because the clamp is not that strong.This feeder will work fine for some people, but just be aware of some of its nuances.

I had never used an automatic feeder before, so I was very skeptical. We were out of town for a week and no one to care for our fish. I did a dry run with it for one day and it worked fine. When we returned from our trip our fish were fine and appeared to have been fed well while we were gone. I have a 20 gallon tropical tank and a 10 gallon goldfish tank.I could not find any automatic feeders in our local stores that I liked. These worked well for me.

I am pleased with this for the price. Getting precision feeding with flakes was a bit difficult and I had to play with it for about 30 minutes and test it multiple times to meauste the amount of food it was dispensing to make it consistently delivered the same amount per day, because consistent amount per feeding was off so I elected to feed every 12 hours instead of 24 hours. However we were gone for over two weeks and I came home to all nine very healthy goldfish. Nine 5 inch goldfish eat a lot and their was only about half the hopper used for 16 days. I appreciate that it is battery operated too. We discovered that our power had been out for 24 hours or more while we were gone.

Save you a lot of time and very useful. You just need to held up to the edge of your fish tank, it will feed your fish automatically. Something I need to travel for work couple days, and it is the excellency what I am looking for.
