Roost White Ladder Bookcase

Good value for money.Structure isnt perfect, finishing isnt always complete and some extra sanding would do good. Outside bits dont line up 100% perfectly.Delivery was super quick (ordered Saturday, arrived on Monday) and assembly was easy enough by myself. Sturdy enough though I wouldnt put a lot of particularly heavy books on it.All in all worth the money but can do with some improvements.

I decided for once not to buy from IKEA and purchase furniture elsewhere. I also considered the cost, of how much is like to spend on an independent retailer. I have to say that as most reviews already state, the assembly instructions were very poor and took me a while to put the shelves together. Also the wood had some splinters and marks on the wood. I don't feel it can hold much weight, so I had to put most of my books onto another bookcase. I must also admit that it was smaller than expected, perhaps due to its shape it takes up less space than your average shelving unit.

I literally received the package 30 minutes ago, happy to finally get this piece of design into my living room... and suddenly the extremely poor quality of this furniture come out.Luckily enough the seller promptly replied and helped out with the product, I wouldn't recommend it but if anything, the seller is pretty good at solving client problems.As mentioned to the seller, the way to improve this product and change completely the value of it are two:1 - Find a way to send the wood rods in a unique cut rather than 2 so the product became more stable and durable2 - Find a dovetail system to join the wood rods so the user doesn't need the screws to connect the parts.

Quite easy to assemble on your own but an extra pair of hands would've made it easier!

Absolutely perfect and surprinsingly stable.

Lovely sturdy shelf - nice and heavy. Unfortunately very let down with the parts not prepared correctly when manufactured, leading to significant assembly problems. I still haven't managed to construct - waiting for a jigsaw to cut out a bit of wood so the screws line up with their homes.Could be great if more care was taken at manufacturing level.

instructions seem simple but I had to redo it twice as the wood was not labelled and all look same otherwise its really pretty
