Perfectly good pair of chinos. They fit as expected, so I am happy.

I ordered 44R - my usual Cotton traders size over more then 5 years.Very well made but these do not fit me! 42R at a pinch, possible even 40R - so I am returning one of the two pairs ordered.. Having taken the many tags off the pair I wore - I will have to hang on to these as an encouragement to diet.

Right, I'm a slightly chunky woman who flat out refused to purchase ladies chinos because not one pair reach one's feet at the moment. My lack of ability to fathom that particularly pants fashion decision aside, it is why I opted to try for a gents pair. Saw these fetching looking numbers with the well advertised "hidden expansion" and thought "well these are the dazzlers for me". No. No they weren't. That ninja extension cable is the single most ineffective thing I've ever come across. It barely expands at all. Also, seems a bit redundant to have an extending middle and still claim it's the same size trouser, but that's my opinion.The two stars are for the really lovely colour - I haven't seen a pair in this fetching shade of green anywhere else - and the super soft cotton fabric. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend them.

Despite having elasticated waist expanders the trousers are moderately smaller than the advertised size. I would recommend going up a size for comfort. They also are designed to sit on the hips and not the waist. Apart from that the materiel is very good quality and the style and shape is good.

Nice pair of trousers and good value for the price, they also have a small waist expander on either side of the waist band to make room for the odd time when you have over indulged.
