Back for my third!
As the headline says, I came back for a third one .. I have one already and bought my Mother one ... got tired of going downstairs for mine so bought one to keep upstairs .. ha ha ha ... !!! How I love this bat ... it is so well made ... has a light on too so you can catch the creepy tinker even with the light off ... just a few days of the heat and humidity we're having now coming up from the South and it brings all the flies indoors as soon as you open the window. Buy with confidence ... as I say, I have bought three and am delighted with them ... they're powerful, not unwieldy to use (tip, go for the flies at night time, they seem to fly about more slowly .. !!) ... hole their charge well ... can't be without it in heatwave times such as now in the UK .. thank you so much ... !!

A fun way to kill insects.
I bought two of these. They work well as long as you can trap the fly between the racket and a surface. I do not have the hand-eye coordination to reliably hit them on the wing, although this has happened. It hold its charge well. Remember to keep your thumb on the small button - it is very frustrating to land a perfect hit and find that the grid has not charged up. Great with wasps too, although they can take a long time to kill them. I hate wasps so this doesn't worry me to much.

Quality written all over it, very pleased.
I bought this for when I open my back door to the garden at night, sometimes the odd fly or moth can find its way into my lounge. However, I used it for the first time 2 days ago.I was really impressed with it and can honestly say the moth wasn't, it fryed it instantly.I don't really mind the odd fly but you dont know what its been in contact with, so I like to keep the elements outside or instead of my clothes being eaten and my home being contaminated this item is of good quality, does the job and well worth the money, dont be fooled by the cheap models.Well done Amazon, highly recommended.

You use this to electrocute: Flies, wasps, people.
I used this to make alive flying insects into dead flying insects, incidentally they cannot fly when they are dead they simply drop to the ground. Sometimes the insects would get stuck in the wires and fry, sometimes big insects would be stunned and become very angry and try to sting me.However none of the larger stinging insects were able to hurt me unlike my friend when I used this to electrocute him. He hit me with his fist and now we are no longer friends and I have a sore eye.

The flies are hiding.
Every year we have a problem with flies as we live by the coast. Hardly had a chance to use it , reckon flies have got wind of my new toy. On the odd few it works a treat and is very satisfying. Far better than bug spray.

Feels a tad big but works well
4 stars as it is quite large. But does work well.Wife finds it large. Easy to use and a satisfying crackle when you hit the fly.

Doesn't kill outright.
After a lot of use, I am reducing my review to 3 stars.Reason:This zapper really doesn't seem to kill a lot. Even when fully charged. It does more stunning than killing. You can zap a fly and it pops. Minutes later, same fly is up and running and giving your the bird whilst you chase around the room trying to get it again. They seem to sense electricity, BTW.Even Wasps, you have to trap them so they can't get away and it takes a lot of zapping to kill one. Seems rather cruel, as much as I hate wasps, being allergic to their venom. I'd rather kill one as quickly as possible, not make it suffer.......This zapper is just not powerful enough.

Wife's favourite tennis racquet.
Very effective, obliterates moths and jennies, kills flies, but haven't been able to try it yet on wasps.I dislike the position of the operating button. It should be above the power switch, not below. This makes it uncomfortable to use as it is held so close to the end of the handle.
