Modern improvement for wood floors.
I resurrected the table and chairs that my father built for our kids 35 years ago. There were metal sliders nailed into the legs of the chairs that had rusted (some of them) and were scratched. I could not see them on a wooden floor today. Switching to these gliders was easy and they slide well. However, the chairs are heavy enough they don't slide away from you.

Mostly nice feet/glides, but under-sized/shorter-lived
I previously tried some Gorilla Glides as chair feet/glides. But they just would not stay stuck on the chair legs with their supplied adhesive. And I was reluctant to screw โem in for fear of damaging the wood chair legs. So I decided to try these Furnigear glides, mainly because they nominally came in the size I wanted (1-1/4 inch) and with a thin, slender nail for attachment - a lot thinner than a screw, so hopefully less risk to the wood chair legs. I supplemented the nail attachment with some Duco cement (great stuff!) between the glide and the chair leg surfaces, also holding them together. And now Iโm cautiously optimistic the glides will stay stuck in place on the chair legs indefinitely. Iโve also been pleasantly quite surprised to find that the teflon glide surface on these feet/glides does actually glide/slide considerably better than whatever unidentified different plastic is used as the glide surface on the Gorilla Glides. There is also the very important question about how strong/tough/durable is the teflon glide surface material on these Furnigear feet/glides - especially since that teflon layer appears to be moderately thin. I donโt have any good idea what to expect on this score - but I will be very unhappy if they donโt last at least a few years of our moderate/light use, especially considering that mine are, as I said, cemented onto the chair legs, so they might be a problem to remove for replacement, I hope not to find out any time soon. It is annoying that these Furnigear feet/glides are not the size advertised and ordered, they are distinctly smaller, undersized. I ordered 1-1/4 inch diameter (to fit my chair legs, of course), and they arrived in a very neat package saying 1-1/4 inch, but theyโre not 1-1/4 inch, theyโre just 1.15 inch, just over 1-1/8 inch. So their glide-surface area is almost 20% below as-advertised. Which means they glide 20% less well and wear out 20% faster than if they were as advertised. All really not good, and all really not okay, and all so totally unnecessary; they make and sell a whole range of sizes, so they could just as easily have made each of them the size they said. Rating 4 stars for now, deducting one star for their being distinctly smaller (and thus shorter-lived) than as-advertised, and watching/waiting/hoping to see how long they really last.

Great product
For years I use stick on felt pads on my kitchen chairs to not scratch my oak floors. The collected lent and dog hair like crazy and often came off on their on. These were easy to install and will stay on the chair leg. They glide over my floor and do not scratch the finish on my floors.

Not the best choice for protecting vinyl plank from scratching
These were not as effective to prevent scratching on vinyl plank flooring as I had hoped. We found, after about a year, that on kitchen chairs that are moved in and out frequently, the Teflon picked up and held little pieces of grit that scratched the surface. We took these out and replaced them with the "Screw-On Felt Pads X-Protector" pads. Those are working better for protecting this kind of floor. On rugs or carpet, this item worked well for us. It slides easily and won't damage the carpet.

Work great on carpet
They were a perfect replacement for rubber feet on our chairs. The chairs wouldnโt slide on carpet so we bought these hoping they would work. The old feet were nailed on so we just had to pull them off and put these back in the same holes. The chairs slide great on the carpet now, exactly what we were looking for.

Predrill needed on hardwood, works great!
Used this product on our 6 dining room chairs to protect the flooring. Used to use felt pads witch would move and leave glue on the floor. These work great, the chairs slide effortlessly and pin in the centers ensure they will stay put. The only drawback is you need to predrill a small hole in the center of each leg.
