Are the colour properly opaque as with proper biros? I would need them to write over printed paper, newspaper, etc.

Yes they are exactly the same as normal bio pens but in different colours we thought they were lovely.

I've just bought these and only 3 show that there is ink in the tube, the red, black and green, the others are showing no ink - why?

I have checked mine and they are the same ,there is ink in them you just can’t see it .Hope this helps .

Are these good for revision? as i like colours to help me remember

I prefer the BIC crystal up collection as the nibs on these are a bit thick and the ink can smudge, but depends on your preference! My GCSE students seemed to like them for making notes and revising.
