Daimay Crazy Horse Large Leather Pen Case, Handmade Fountain Pen / Multi-Pen Case, Brown

Bought this for a new fountain and ballpoint pen - the leather is high quality and flexible - and quite frankly smells wonderful. Read the previous reviews which say that it marks easiy, believe them! But, this to me makes it more individual because it scuffs and scratches easily. Good quality, reasonable price - you can fit three pens in because the leather is so forgiving. Five stars all round.

I’m very pleased with this pen case and at under £10 it’s excellent value for money. It’s a good fit for three medium-sized pens or pencils like my Parker 51, a Kaweco or a Pilot rollerball. It would probably hold no more than two large fountain pens. The flap is quick to undo, if a bit slow to close, and quite secure. As far as I can see it’s full-thickness leather (about 1.8 mm). Mine has a more uniform colour than the photo suggests, but the waxy surface marks easily – as it’s designed to – and should quickly end up looking suitable distressed. The inner surface is shaggy and carries a fine pattern from a roller, but it’s definitely leather, not fabric as I first suspected. Stitching looks OK and in any case would be easy to fix if it wears.

It is well made. I can get 2 fountain pens and a fineliner in mine. I tried 3 fountain pens, but it was impossible to close it properly. Attractive mid tan coloured leather which should age interestingly with use. I like it.

As advertised, good size and useful

I wanted a leather pouch like this for my set of four Sriveiner pens (fountain, rollerball, ballpoint and mechanical pencil) which are quite substantial, and thought I was taking a bit of a chance going by the 7cm width measurement. However, having owned numerous items made from leather over the decades I know it relaxes and stretches, so I was willing to take that chance. As you will see from the photographs, the pens fit comfortably - I have the ballpoint at one end and the pencil at the other, where the stitching runs down the sides and makes for a tighter fit. And the flap tucks in with a little care and persuasion, though over time I'm confident that it will all "wear in" nicely. I did think of making it 4 stars rather than 5, but since I wasn't looking for exquisitely tooled fancy patterning decided that wasn't justified. So I'm delighted with this product, and have no hesitation recommending it. And note that I didn't qualify that with "... at the price", because as I said, I wasn't looking for a work of art - I wanted a practical item, well made using good quality materials and I got just what I wanted.

Beautifully made from top notch leather. Leather is of a good thickness to present the item as well made and luxurious finish. Holds 3 Pens so enables 3 pen options to ensure options when writing. Recommended

Nice good value, real leather pen case but it is a bit stiff and tight for any pen thicker than a Parker Jotter. I had to condition and break in the leather to allow it to comfortably hold 3 Lamy Safari's . Worth the money and ordered a second one.

I have two pen cases, both made with real leather. This one is a lighter brown leather color and looks very attractive. It does not have the wrinkled features of my other case which appears to be a vintage style. This case is more modern looking but still very attractive in its own way. It can hold 3 to 4 Scriveiner fountain pens which have average width.
