How To Use The GoPro Hero 4 Silver

I finally got my first GoPro and decided to go with the 4 silver. To a first time user and for someone who basically used their phone to take pictures and videos. These cameras have a lot of options that are far outside my basic knowledge and without at least some basic understanding of what each feature does, you will lower the quality of your videos and pictures and not be as satisfied with you purchase. This book did an excellent job of explaining how all the features work and even gives examples of when to use each feature to which make it easier to understand. This way you don't have to learn what does and doesn't work in certain situations and it even gets the wheels in your head turning on new ideas and ways to use your camera. I probably would have been overwhelmed with this camera if I hadn't gotten this book.

This book covers all the basic and then some. Great starter book. I was newbie to GoPro action cameras so this was a excellent start to understanding the basic and some advanced features of the camera and related software for editing from GoPro. I would definitely recommend this book for anyone wanting a solid understanding of the GoPro action camera.

I was gifted the GoPro Hero 4 Silver camera, however I am not the most tech savvy individual so was a little intimidated to use it until I discovered Jordan Hetrick's "How to Use the GoPro Hero 4 Silver". The instructions are easy to understand, laid out in a user friendly format and with so many great tips, I already feel like a pro who has been doing this for years! I especially found the section on editing super helpful as this is where I seem to get lost in taking lots of footage but not knowing what to do with it! This book is definitely a worthwhile buy for anyone looking to maximize their use of the GroPro Hero 4 Silver.

Being basically brand new to the GoPro, I found this book extremely helpful!!! I bought it for tablet, and now have it on OneDrive so I can access it on all my electronics. He goes in great detail from camera basics, to shooting modes and situations, to mounts and angles, to advanced ideas and information. All through the book are tips and a "go deeper" paragraph, which expands the creativity even further. Very impressive and informative read, I will continually reference it often! HIGHLY recommend for any novice and amateur as well.

I liked the easy steps to use the camera, but I would have wished for some more advanced "how to" examples.

This book is good for the beginning GoPro user. It gets you over the hump of being just an instinctual user and into a reasonably capable state. All of the info is user friendly. To get more out of your GoPro, this book can help you out. Now directorial abilities, that's another story.RL

This is a great book for beginners (which I am). I found it best to set bookmarks and notes on my kindle so I can quickly refer to key sections. Over time, I am sure these will become routine. This book is clear, well written and hits all the things you need to know to get started and have immediate success with your new GoPro.

This book is great if you are new to Gopro. It gave me a few tips and tricks. Obviously you can find some info on youtube, but this book also gives you ideas on where and how to use the go pro, which mounts to use for that certain activity, which settings are best for what you plan to do. Overall its a great book. If you are not new to go pro it might be a little basic for you.

Very in depth and I found it very informative and really well written for any skill level of camera user

Secondo me è un ottimo libro, semplice, chiaro, spiega tutto quello che c'è da sapere sul modello Hero 4 Silver. Non si sofferma solo sugli aspetti tecnici, ma da anche molti consigli di ripresa. Forse è vero che molte informazioni si possono trovare nei forum internet, ma qui c'è il ventaggio che sono già belle e che pronte tutte assieme. Va bene per i principianti, ma ci sono informazioni utili anche per gli esperti per capire bene le funzionalità specifiche di questo modello. Per me da raccomandare.

Just a brilliant easy to understand explanation of the features of the GP4 Silver. This is a much needed book because the instructions that come with the camera are vague to say the least explains the basic functions but for me as a novice even those didn't help me, so I began looking for a book which could help me with it and I found this one on Amazon and decided to give it a go. It turned out that my choice was the best I could have made so I recommend it 110%
