Heskins LLC PHOT1/2 Glow in the Dark Photoluminescent Egress Tape, 1/2" x 30'

Don't bother if you are looking for something that glows in the dark. I wanted to use this in the garage so i can see the outline if the garage door. After the lights are off, nothing glow. Added to the fact that the width of the tape us so small. It is the size of the width of a U.S dime. I should have check the size info. I trusted it and didn't bother to try out a few feet to test it but i went ahead and used all of it and found out it doesn't work at all. So this tape does not work as described as glow in the dark.edit: after giving it a little more time to see if my first impression was wrong or not and it turned out that this is still the same. Although it does glow a little but very dim. it was not very visible even in total darkness. I had let in the sun light all day long to see if it would get better but after more than 8 hours of daytime bright sun light, i get a little better than my first try from the artificial lights from inside the garage. the amount of time it glows is very short also. I am very disappointed from this fact. So, my final conclusion is still the same but upraded the star to 2 stars to show that it does work in some ways but not as something you would use to see in the dar.

Sticks and holds up well. I use it on my guitar for markers and it holds well and doesnt looks nasty and collect grime. I've been playing on it for a few months now and havent had to replace the strips yet.

Difficult to apply, but once in place stays pretty well on outdoor surface despite rain & wind.Does not really glow in the dark, unless you are just a few feet away; this is not visible in the dark except when you are right next to it. Charging via sun, flashlight or electric light did not seem to make any difference.Our intent was to use this for temporary art on a fence for a night time yard party...however it was not noticeable. It should be good for marking stair treads, but will not glow any brighter than when you first see it.

I used this for a Black Light PartyIt was a very cool idea to do wall art with glow in the dark tape.we made several designs that looked awesome for the party. The tape glowed very well.The only issue i had was that this wasn't enough tape for the art piece. so make sure to buy enough tape for your art

The tape is pretty solid and the adhesive stays strong. I use small strips and place them on my flashlights. When the power goes out , those stickers stay lit for a few minutes, which is good enough for me. Just remember, these stickers must be exposed to light at least for a few minutes to stay lit.

Charges quickly and stays put.Peel away backing can be hard to...well...peel away.Because it has a peel away backing, the tape doesn't stick to itself on the role like a normal role of tape would...so it unwinds a bit.Doesn't tear (easily), so you have to cut the pieces.

The backing can be a little annoying to peel off, and the adhesive isn't the best, but the glow holds well.

Glows brightly when explosed to light but I have to deduct one star due to it's glow time. It'll glow for only a few short moments before completely fading, it is really easy to apply and durable though.

Purchased this as well as the Artgear "Glow In The Dark Tape". In comparison, after exposing the two tapes to the same light at the same time (side by side), this tape had very, very little glow while the other tape was reasonably bright. After 30 minutes the Artgear tape still had some glow while this did not have any glow at all. Neither tape had any glow after 60 minutes. To say "Discharges a highly visible light to mark out walkways" is not accurate. Neither tape was as bright as I had hoped but this tape had far less glow that the other tape.Would I buy again? Definitely not.

The reason I bought this was to stop fumbling around for remotes and controllers in the dark.I was skeptical at first, but I have to say it works way better than I anticipated. While exposed to direct lighting, it glows really bright, but in a realistic scenario it'll glow enough to see in the dark in almost any other situation. It's great for the first thing in the morning when you're trying to find stuff. I have this on the backs of all my remotes in my entertainment area, on my main xbox controller, my remote light switch (the most important one so far) and my remote start for my truck. This makes them all easy to grab in the dark.I've had this tape for a few months now and the glow is still as good as the day I bought it.

Very unimpressed with this. I purchased it to line the top of a black baby gate at the top of the stairs that blends in with a dark floor and staircase. I've had a few night-time run-ins with an open gate, and boy those are not pleasant. Even if the overhead light is on for over an hour, merely 4 feet above this tape, the "charge" still isn't enough to keep this tape glowing longer than 5 or 10 minutes. That makes it pretty useless, in my opinion, especially when everything else like a wristwatch can glow throughout the night. I don't need it to be super bright, but glowing visibility beyond a short time frame would be nice. I saw all of the warnings and reviews, but thought maybe someone was doing something wrong. Nope. Don't let anyone believe you otherwise, these just won't glow longer than a few minutes.

I used this to mark the steps of a steep, somewhat slippery, and completely black staircase in our house. It's helped a lot - it's a simple, affordable solution to a real problem.

Lots of uses. I have it wrapped around a few pocket flashlights that I keep in various rooms in case of power failure.
