I had been looking for a small umbrella to keep in my work bag to prepare for unexpected showers. Bought a different item which I ended up throwing out because the canopy wouldn't lock into position (and discovered the problem too late to return it). It's strange to say it about such an inexpensive item, but this little guy is well made. It's reliable and sturdy, and even comes with a neat little drawstring pouch to keep it clean. It's tiny when folded up, but big enough to provide decent protection when it's deployed. I have purchased several of them.

I bought this umbrella for a trip in 2022 that was dry so I did not need the umbrella. Fast forward 11 months and I take it on my next backpacking trip in an Ireland. On the third use It was blown inside out and 2 of the metal ribs were broken by a huge gust of wind that probably was in excess of 70mph.. Since the umbrella was described as wind proof I contacted the seller and inquired about a replacement under their warranty. The seller responded quickly and immediately shipped a replacement that arrived in 3 days. Excellent service. The umbrella is big enough to keep me dry and packs very small, fitting easily into a side pocket of my pack. It even has a soft carry bag with drawstring closure. Nice!

Haven't had occasion to use it yet, but in comparison to the compact umbrella I carried for years, it feels pretty flimsy, and the canopy is much smaller. Fingers crossed it will get the job done! Good price though.

I debated to give this a 4 or 5 star. I went with 5 for one reason - I was looking for a small, lightweight, portable umbrella to carry in a nap-sack to use as an emergency umbrella since my job requires me to be outside in different kinds of weather. This umbrella says it all in its description, "lightweight, portable, mini, compact", It is in fact all of those things! I have carried it on me and used it several times in a pinch. Is it my main, heavy duty umbrella? No, it not, but I have a bigger, sturdier umbrella I keep in my car for that. It also was a good price.

EDIT: The umbrella also did not hold up in wind, flipped inside out a lot which made it a little hard to use during vacation. That said, the seller immediately send me a replacement which I will try out next time it rains here at home. I have to compliment the seller for quick response and sending a replacement so quickly. Hoping the new one does better. Still really like the size and lookThe plus: light, small, nice pattern on the inside. Handle comfortable. Held up well in light wind but heavy rain.The minus: Used it twice now and not for very long, already showing little tears poking through. I can tell because the color from the pattern inside is now starting to poke through to the outside where the hinges touch the material. I'm not hard on it, and literally have used it twice for an hour or so each time, then just folded it shut and wrapped the velcro around it. Pics attached. I am afraid it will continue to damage and create little leak holes.A bit hard to roll out, maybe it will wear in. And not as "flat" as other travel umbrellas, but the size is pretty nice overall.

This wonderful little umbrella is perfectly precise, which is exactly what I needed, downpours arrive unexpectedly where I live so you need to always have an umbrella with you, but the larger clunky ones are so inconvenient. This one literally slips into the slim outer pocket of my medium two small size purse, yet provides just as much coverage as any larger one that I’ve had. I’m never buying a full size umbrella again, why the heck would you if you have this! Give this product a try and I am sure you will agree with me.👍

Not the toughest umbrella out there but it’s light weight enough to fit into our packs for scouting animals. Basically we just needed something to keep the rain off when it was coming down heavy in the summer storms and this will work fine. Shipping was quick easy to use no complaints.
