I thought that I wrote a review for this, but I couldn't find it. This is by far the best popcorn popper ever invented. I tried the glass ones, and they are plain terrible and always leave a huge amount of kernels unpopped. I bought the teal color silicone popper. It's such a nice color. I have a 700 Watt microwave that is 13 years old, and I just put the popcorn in for 4 minutes and then listen to the sound. Once the popcorn stops popping, I take it out before it starts to burn. Usually, it takes around 3 minutes for all the popcorn to pop, but the time varies so that's why I just put it in 4 minutes and stop it early. Unlike the glass popcorn poppers, you don't have a small opening to reach in and grab popcorn to eat. You don't have to transfer the popcorn to a bowl. You don't have to worry about glass being hot or glass accidentally shattering. The silicone is a lot lighter than the glass. It's way easier and quicker to clean. I really can't think of anything bad about this popper. It's perfect. I did burn one popcorn once inside and it left a burn mark that I couldn't fully remove, but that doesn't bother me. So don't leave your popcorn in the microwave too long. It's not that hard to check on it after three minutes and take it out when it is done popping. The lid is a clear plastic and it discolors easily and I often see beads of sweat or something on it after I am done popping. I think maybe the lid is the weakest part of this popper. I hope it's BPA free or whatever and I think they could make a better looking lid. But even if they didn't, I freaking love this popper!

I saw this popcorn popper listed on one of the Weight Watchers sites, and everyone that bought one really like it. I ordered it and have used it twice. It pops most of the kernels pretty well, but does leave some unpopped, but you can put them back in and re-pop them. We bought Orville Redenbacher popcorn, but it has absolutely no taste, but I doubt it has anything to do with the popper. Maybe we'll try another brand. So, the only real issue I have is that the popper gets extremely hot and is hard to handle! I do like it, though. East to use and easy to clean and store since it collapses almost flat.

I have had dozens of popcorn makers over the years. Oil, Air, Whirley Pop, etc. They all work and some very well. Got this for a summer retreat and wanted something light to travel with. Game changer. We got a second one they are that good. They have made some improvements since our first one. (still works great). They are heavier and the lid goes on better.These have 2 fill line markers inside. One line makes a 3/4 full amount. The other a Full Tub. You can use a little oil, we don't. Pops the corn in 3min. Seriously. It's that fast. So fast we make several tubs, fast. Clean up? There is none. Just wipe out the crumbs and put away.One thing to note that is different than ALL the other poppers. The other poppers you wait for the corn to stop popping. This one NO. It will slow down and continue to pop but you are burning the corn. Takes a little practice. But we now stop slightly early, no burn and very little to no un popped corn. Very efficient, fast and easy cleanup. We make popcorn 5-6 times a week! This thing ROCKS corn!

I have used this a few times now and love that it is dishwasher safe! Prior to this I had a popcorn machine that during the last time I used and it smelled like burning and a spark flew out of it. I immediately turned it off and unplugged it and threw it out after it cooled down. So, I replaced that with this product because I hope that it will be safer to use. I expand the bowl all the way and put the kernels in and place the top in the bowl and then just microwave for 3 minutes. It does a great job and creates good tasting popcorn. Recommend.

Love how fast & convenient to enjoy a healthy snack. I've used it with and without oil. It tastes great either way. Easy to clean up too. The only downside is that it doesn't pop every kernel as I had hoped...but it does pop most of them (better than other methods).

TBH I wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised by the performance and ease of use of this Blue Silicone Gem! Even though I had an air popper, I was never really pleased with it's performance and the mess of overflowing. Not wanting to use anything but popcorn and air with no oils etc. I had been using the brown paper bag and microwave method which worked fairly well but didn't want to rely on using and finding paper bags and to see if I could get even better popping results. It couldn't get much easier than using this popper. Never read a thing. Used the same measuring cup that I had used for my previous method so I didn't even use the line inside the popper. Just loosely placed on the lid and also didn't worry about experimenting with different times and just choose my "regular popcorn size" setting on my microwave and voila almost every kernel popped and fluffy even with a cheap major department store brand. Cleaning is ridiculously easy, a rinse with the kitchen faucet sprayer and quick wipe with paper towel and done!

Incredibly easy to use, the popcorn popped perfectly. And, to my amazement, there were almost no unpopped kernels at the end. Though...that could have been because I hover at the microwave trying to catch it at just the right time.My popcorn tasted perfect without any plasticy flavor or anything else artificial. I did clean the bowl and lid before my first use, so I would suggest doing that when you get yours.The lid did actually rise as the popcorn popped, the silicone "bowl" held its shape and was easy to rinse out afterward, though the one thing that wasn't super accurate was the measurement lines and how much popcorn they indicated they would give you. The second picture was filled to the second line, the one that was supposed to completely fill the bowl.I'd buy more of this product if I had need of more than one. It's compact, easy to use, clean, and store, and does exactly what it claims it will.Oh, I used only a sprinkle of salt and did not try to pop popcorn with butter or oil, nor did I put any oil or butter on the popped popcorn so while I did say the bowl was easy to clean, it was without the complications of oiliness on the silicone. That may change your cleaning experience.

Haven't added butter straight to the bowl because I had read someone say it had caused problems. Luckily my child loves his popcorn with just a little salt so this is perfect. Really does a great job of cooking popcorn, cleans easy and once dry can be folded for easy storage, way easier to store than the electric popcorn maker I was thinking of getting!

looks fine, product came earlier than expected

I really enjoy my popcorn popper so far. I wanted to replace my chip addiction with something healthier and cheaper so I decided to eat popcorn when the cravings hit. But taking out a sauce pan and turning on the stove all the time is such a hassle. Then I searched and found this small gadget.It’s amazing how almost each of corns pop. They are really puffy and crunchy. I don’t put oil so there is minimal cleaning as well. Add a bit of salt and you are good to go. Just make sure folloe the instructions on the leaflet so you don’t put more than what’s recommended otherwise they won’t pop fully.I bought high quality organic kernels and I only had 2-3 unpopped one in each batch.Still it comes much more cheaper than a bag of high quality chips.Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fuss free healthy snack.

A friend told me about this, so i purchased 1 for myself and 1 for an elderly parent. It is simple to use, easy to clean, doesn’t take much storage space, and we can enjoy fresh popcorn, and can use fresh butter and control the amount of salt and butter used. Will never go back to prepackaged microwave popcorn, and is far more convenient than dragging out the air popper.
