My husband has been wanting to learn the wood burning craft so I bought this book with a beginner wood burner and it's great the prince a little small but other than that it's great it teaches you everything you need to know all the ins and outs I highly recommend this for any beginner

Essential but basic instructions. Some typos and grammatical errors detract from the content. Worth the low cost, just don't expect a lot.

Good basic beginner book with some good ideas for projects and basic instructions and techniques with simple and clear directions.

I was looking for a decent beginners book on pyrography and this was a bit of a bargain in Kindle form so I thought I'd give it a go but it really is hard work. This is not because it is a difficult or complicated hobby to take up (far from it) it is that the text is littered with grammatical errors, many sentences don't make sense and it all reads unprofessional and sloppy. Also there are no pictures to go with the descriptions of styluses, nibs or techniques. Hence for the beginner it is difficult to know what the author is talking about (particularly when his English is so dreadful). I wondered at one point whether it was translated from a foreign language because the text is so obtuse. Sorry I can't recommend this book and I've already got my eye on another one that at least looks like it is written in proper English!

This book was hugely disappointing. The English is terrible and some paragraphs make no sense. There is a lack of pictures which means, if you are a beginner, you need to guess at which tip they are talking about.It was published by Amazon - no peer review method would accept it - very shocking for the price.

Hopefully you are reading this review BEFORE purchasing.. If so don't do it... No illustrations to accompany the waffle on projects makes it near on impossible to follow.. I made the mistake of buying this because it was cheap.. Please don't make the same mistake..
