I wanted a way to easily switch my wireless headphones from the BluRay player to the cable Box when watching TV. This little box did the trick. A simple "A/B" button switch and I can go from one audio source to the other. It is very simple to use and set up. No external power source is needed. I don't use the video source on this, but the audio is clear with no noticeable diminish in quality or volume. As other people have mentioned the box itself is very light, which does cause some issues with the weight of the cables pulling on it from the back. It seems to slowly creep back from the top of my BluRay player. I like to put it right on top at the front of my player so I can put a disk it and hit the button on the switch box without reaching back, but after a few days it has creeped its way to the back of the player and I have to pull it forward again. Other than that small issue, I really love this simple solution for switching between sources.

Does just what I was hoping it would do. The online description is 2 Inputs / 1 Output, but I needed just the reverse....1 Input / 2 Outputs, so I could alternate a signal to 2 different TVs. Before buying it, I found another AB switch online that appeared to be the same switch under a different private label, which was described to also work in reverse. CablesOnline couldn't guarantee it would work in reverse, however, for only $15 and free shipping I decided to take a chance. I"m happy to report it does in fact work in reverse and switches back and forth without any problems..

This is a basic two way switch that works as advertised. Mass produced, I assume the failure rate would be about one in a thousand. When I received one that was defective or damaged, I sent an e-mail to CablesOnline with my complaint. They immediately asked me if I wanted a refund or a replacement, my choice. The next day they e-mailed a postage-paid return label to me explaining that they would send a replacement as soon as the old unit was returned. Within a week, I had a new switch that has been working perfectly ever since. CablesOnline not only backs their products but when they say Free Shipping, you can take them at their word for that as well. Kudos.

This fine little unit deserves all the praise on this site. I bought it so I could connect two different audio devices into my amplified speaker system. If I used a Y cable, only one source came through. With this, I just push a button and I am in business. Sound quality if fine, but I don't use the video ports.It sits on top of my sub-woofer next to the blue tooth receiver which is one of the two sources. The other is the rear speaker output of my computer sound card, forming a quad system with dual sub-woofers on that source.This is by far the simplest and lowest cost answer I could find.

Nothing to complain about this product. Does what it is meant to do without any trouble. The switches are working perfect. I bought 2 of these to switch between 2 5.1 audio sources. Meaning I have 1 set of 5.1 analog speakers that I use between 1 DVD player with 6 channel analog output and my PC with Sound Blaster x-fi sound card. So to switch between the DVD player and PC, I am using 2 A/V switchers.I have connected  Premium Grade 24K Gold Stereo RCA Cable, Red & White, 35 ft  for this purpose. Since these cables are very heavy than the switch I have used 3M mirror tape to paste the switcher on the wall. I will soon upload a pic.

I bought this for the RCA plugs only and not the video. I like to either watch tv or listen to my MP3 player while on the treadmill. I use Radio Shack cordless headphones and it was a pain having to plug and unplug the RCA plugs each time I changed units. This audio/video switcher did the trick. Only reason I am giving it 4 stars is that you have to push a little harder to get the a or b side to work. Other then that it works perfectly.

I love this ! I have a tv that only has one port. So I had to choose between having the wii in to watch Netflix or my dvd player in to play dvds. Not anymore !!! This amazing ! You do need another cable to hook from the tv to the box. But they run cheap ! You just hit A or b on which system you want to use. So easy !
