Better Than Break Away Collar?
It Is showing up onders has Not been delivered yet because of delay but I received a few weeks ago but It Is a good thing because I needed to write a review for over a year .... Better Than Break Away Collar? I live In the country It seem Cats I put the break away collars on disappear so I risked It putting this collar on My Cat and with a Tile Blue Tooth tracking device..... the way I figured It that It takes a unknown amount of force before a break away collar breaks loose and If a wild Animal gets a hold of Your Cat's neck the collar Is holding down Your Cat from exscaping but with this Collar with force It Immediately starts to come off allowing Your Cat to escape........ as Others have said these collars do Not last much time maybe a year before they start to lose It's elasticity and starts looking ragged this Is the second one I bought.

Elastic, reflective, and not a safety snap
I really wanted a collar that wasn't quick release, and this elastic one is it. Plus the reflective threads are super bright, even when old and worn.My cats have RFID tags that let them in the pet doors, and it was getting expensive to replace the collar and tags each time one with a safety snap came undone just from daily life.

Great for kittens - do not trim
The good: Our kitten is too small for the original collar I bought him, but this one can be made as small as you like, as there are no pre-cut holes for the buckle. It's slightly stretchy fabric, so you stick the pin through it wherever it fits best for your cat. This is really handy for tiny kitten necks. The bad: It will be several inches too long and the little D ring to hold the excess doesn't slide, so if the excess is more than an inch this little ring is pretty much useless and the extra length will bug your cat. So I trimmed it. Big mistake. It frayed almost down to the buckle in two days, one more day and it would've fallen off. I ordered another since it's such a great deal, and kitty will just have to live with the extra length, though another reviewer here suggested using the thinnest, smallest zip tie you can find to fashion a holder for the excess length, I might try that. It also doesn't say super smooth very long, it starts to get fuzzy with wear. Not a big deal, it doesn't affect the function. Overall it's a great collar for the price especially for kittens or small cats, seems very smooth/no rough edges. I'd recommend it.

Best Cat Collar for Your Money & More Importantly, Safety Wise!
Pros:Stretchy, comfortable, thinner than most cat collars, adjustable, sturdy nametag ring, strong buckle, amazing priceCons: None that I have foundThis is my favorite cat collar by far!! I have feral rescue cats that I care for & indoor/outdoor cats as well. All of them are microchipped when they are spayed/neutered...just so I know what happened if one goes missing. But even though they are chipped, collars are super important!! Animal control can see that a cat is not a stray, is domestic or is being taken care of. This means if there is an injured cat without a chip or a nametage, they will try to find the owners rather than take it to a shelter for just a few days. These collars are super flexible, super stretchy and reflective. People can see that the cats are "owned" and taken care of from a distance as well as if they are in the street, allowing them time to slow down.I can leave these collars on a little tighter than normal collars because they are comfortable, thinner and will stretch...easily slipping off over the cat's head if they are caught on a fence, bush, by another cat, etc. I find that by having a more comfy collar that stretches, I'm able to hold onto collars way longer than the normal nylon ones. We all know how expensive cat collars are!! The longer I can keep them, the better! It's easily adjustable. There are no holes, so you just slip the buckle in between the fibers easily and it stays put. Easy to size big or small cats. (I have an 18lb Snowshoe Siamese and a 5lb runt - so I like being able to buy one collar which fits both). If it's too long, I can cut the end off and burn the end with a lighter so there's no annoying flap hanging out.The nametag ring is strong as well as the buckle which is a must. I always add a nametag only with my name and phone number so I can re-use tags and people will call me saying they've found a collar...so that helps!I don't like normal breakaway collars BECAUSE some of the clips are so tight and not easily releasable, the cat can struggle and get injured while trying to break free. I like that it does not have a bell because I don't want predators to easily hear, locate and stalk my cats. I have coyotes, so I want my kitties to be able to hide and not be heard tinkling with every movement, signaling where they are.I LOVE these collars and never use any other. It's hard to find the stretchy collars nowadays, especially with all the glitter collars and prints/designs you can find...but they aren't as safe or as durable as these stretchy ones. Hope this helps everyone!! :-) Rescue on!! ^..^

Great collar, wouldn’t hurt to be more reflective, thicker buckle, and more color options
I bought two of these collars because I have a very hard time keeping one on my cat. I followed advice if another review and trimmed the collar a little since it was a bit longer than I needed. I also burned the end to keep from fraying. I love that these collars are stretchy rather than break away which falls off super easy. I only wish I would not have trimmed the first one. I let my cat out and within 15 minutes it was already gone and I couldn’t find it. The second has been on my cat a week now(full length as it comes) and I just tucked the bit of extra length into the hoop where the tag attaches instead of cutting it. So far so good. One thing I will say is that without the extra length it might have unbuckled because it is like a belt buckle. Metal peg doesn’t click or snap into place which still seems to be working fine as long as there is length enough to keep it stable. I took one star off because although I do love that it has reflective dots on it, I wish there was just a little more. Also would have like just a little sturdier if a buckle. Also would be nice to have more colors available. All in all though I would say this seems to be the least irritating to my cat compared to others I have tried. When he tries to itch under it, it doesn’t just fall off like the break away collars. I also like that he can still move his neck freely given the stretchiness. Price is great for the quality.

Exactly what I wanted
This collar is exactly what I was looking for. It neither hurt my beautiful cat nor is uncomfortable for him (I know so because is the only collar he doesn’t take off). Is also very safe for him as I know he won’t get trapped and choke to death, that it was by main concern with collars as once it happened but luckily I hear him crying. The only downside side is that after few months of using the collar if wears off, it looks like I have been using it for a year! However, is still in perfect working condition and I wouldn’t change this collar for any other and if I have to get another collar if my cat looses this one, it will be the same one.

Not ideal
It's a good product, but even the large one isn't quite large enough.

Sad to see they aren't making these anymore.
Great product, I've been using these collars for years, my cat is very rough on collars so these ones last about 6 months. That's twice as long as the plastic break away ones. Also the elastic material is way safer for my curious guy than the plastic break away ones (which also only break away as they are supposed to in the perfect scenario, my cat has got caught up twice in the supposed break away collars, but never in these) My cat can easily slide out of this collar if it were to snare on something (sometimes he takes it off to play with it). It does fray over time especially if your cat scratches his collars, but that's to be expected (it's not leather). Some people say they saw colour displacement but my cat has been wearing the red collar for 5 years (a new one every 6 months) with no colour ever leaking to his fur or skin. Keep making this amazing product and I'll keep buying it as long as I have cats. Sad that they stopped producing these, they really were the perfect collar.
