Golf Cart Mount/Holder for SkyCaddie SX500

A great device to hold your SkyCaddie! It is not bulky and can be attached with the cart shield up. It is very easy to put it in and take it out of the holder. A very well designed holder!!

Update after almost five years- it's still going strong, and still used multiple times per week still since I bought it. It has survived a number of falls that were my fault while carrying it. Still securely holds my Sky Caddie and still holds onto the golf cart flawlessly.This was not a Vine purchase, btw. I rarely do followup reviews, and have never done a second followup until now. So, I'm still using the same Caddie Buddy after 3 years. It has been used for several hundred rounds. The holder still grasps my Sky Caddie securely no matter the terrain. I have been careless and dropped the Caddie Buddy holder with the Sky Caddie attached on my garage floor way too many times and the holder has survived. Still extremely pleased with it.Here's an update after using this for over a year. On average the holder gets used several times per week. This holder is still great. Clamps onto several different places on a golf cart. Still rock solid. No obvious signs of wearing out. I hung onto the different locking tabs that come with the holder in case I get a different device. Still highly recommended and I would buy again without question.My old SkyCaddie croaked and I bought a new SX500. The SX500 is too big to fit directly in the cup holder in a golf cart, so I needed a mounting device. This one arrived a couple of weeks ago, and I have used it a number of times. It works great. The holder securely clamps to the vertical roof support bar on the golf cart. The device holder that the SkyCaddie sits in is pretty slick. There is a locking tab you add to the top of the device holder. Several different tabs are included so you can choose the best fit for your device. It is very easy to remove the SkyCaddie from the holder if you want to take it with you to your ball position. The course I have played on several times with this holder is pretty bumpy. The SkyCaddie remained secure in the device holder, and the clamp mount remained in place on the roof support throughout the rounds played.

I use it for mounting the Skycaddie SX500 to the gold cart. It is easy to mount on the gold cart post (either left or right). The clamp is strong to hold it stable on the cart. Adjustment possible for all directions. Also easy to unmount at the end of the round. It provides 4 clips to use with different size device. I select the one for my skyCaddie SX500. It is easy to remove to put in your pocket when you walk towards the green and put it back to the holder for the next hole. I subtract 1* for the price.

Purchased for SkyCaddie SX500. Works perfect. This is the 2nd Caddie Buddy I purchased. I purchased one 4 years ago for a older SkyCaddie. Highly recommend. Easy to use, I mount it to the roof pillar. It stays in place. Easy to adjust to fit the cart and angle to read from the seat.

This bracket is solidly and thoughtfully constructed which gives it great versatility for holding a variety of devices and placing in a variety of locations on a golf cart. I have tried a variety of items for holding my devices on a golf cart over the years and I think this is one of the very best I have had.

My husband purchased this for me and I absolutely love it. It mounts well to both my pushcart and the motorized drivable carts. I don’t have to worry about losing it or reaching down to pick it up each time I need to use it. It has multiple adjustments to modify the position when it is mounted and I feel it is very sturdy. My husband saw how much I enjoy mine and bought one for himself!
