great for the price
I had a poor start with these, my fault. I started to use them with an end grinder. Spinning them at 8000-10000 RPM burned the material (not sure about 'burn' but left a brown burn looking stain on the concrete). After I got an appropriate variable speed grinder/polisher (300-3000 RPM) they work great on a concrete counter top (5000+ PSI).

Great product!
Used to polish my poured concrete counter top that surrounds our fire pit and worked awesome. It feels like polished granite and they still have a lot of life left in them. Price also was great! Def would buy again and recommend to anyone else thinking of buying these types of pads

Velcro comes off
Overall, the polishing pads work great. I haven't had any issues with the polishing pads. My only issue has been with the rubber pad (that attaches to the grinder). The bottom of the rubber pad has a velcro strip glued to it. This is what holds the polishing pads on the rubber pad. Unfortunately, either I received a bad pad, or the glue must be pretty inferior, because the velcro strip tore off after about 4hrs of use. Can't use the polishing pads without the rubber piece.

Has the potential to work well if you know what you are doing (and have the right equipment and time).
Purchased these to help grind/polish a concrete bar top that I recent made. I used the proper backer and a Porter Cable Dual Action polisher/sander with these. I also used running water from a hose while performing the polishing. The result is ho-hum - it left scoring that I can't polish out but conveniently for me, also left the concrete with some "character" for the rustic-looking bar. So my take - either I was just not that good at using these or they aren't that good. Or maybe it was my lack of patience and time to use these.

Good product
My son built an island in his kitchen and poured a concrete top. These did an excellent job creating the smooth finish he was looking for.

Work great
Work great. Make sure you give them a decent amount of water and they will last much longer. I suggest 30 & 50 grit to cut thru and get to the aggregate quickly.

Good cheap sanding pads
Decent set of pads. Used them to do my concrete counter tops. They wear down pretty quick though.
