Materials Matter Built out of high performance laminate sailcloth engineered specifically to perform in a wet environment, very efficiently turn wind into power, and maintain their integrity for the duration of their life as a sail. The sailcloth is inherently very strong, low stretch, and repels water, sweat & grime. Stitching Matters The stitching we use is called a triple step zig zag. It's the traditional stitch used to sew panels of sails together. One single line of straight stitch just isn't strong enough to withstand all of that force. Rather then sew two or three separate lines of stitching to give the seams the strength they need, sailmakers use the triple step zig zag. It's basically stitching with built in reinforcement. If there's a more hard core stitched gear out there, we haven't seen it.
