i am planning to use this runner in a patio table , i just wonder if it will be ok with lots of sun?

I have it inside the house. But with summer sun the table runner is probably going to lose the bright colors.

As far as I know, the tablecloths are made in Mexico. I've bought them in Mexico and they are they same as received from Amazon. They are not heavy as you might find a serape, but the patterns/colors are as serape and blankets. However, the weight and weave are very nice, and the product overall is good as well as the cost. They are suitable for tablecloths, napkins, display, garments, quilting, etc.
