Nicholas Sparks Film Collection (Nights in Rodanthe / The Notebook / Message in a Bottle / A Walk to Remember)

These are great adaptions to Nicholas Sparks' greatest novels!
Even though I am not much of a romance reader I really love Nicholas Sparks' work. "The Notebook" is by far my most favorite from him. I even loved the movie that was made in 2004 of the novel. And I also loved other adaptions like "A Walk To Remember" and "Message in a Bottle". However, I never really did see "Nights in Rodanthe". But the other three films were just amazingly created.I never felt so emotional about romance novels or movies before. I was always the action-adventure type of guy. But then I saw the movie "The Notebook" and that was when I was introduced to Nicholas Sparks. I watched the other adaptions and I just really like them for some reason. I later figured out that the reason I love them is because I find myself rooting for the couples in the movies and novels. I just care about these characters and I really want them to be together, like as if it is the end of the world if they don't get together in the end. What else can say? These movies are full of romance that they will leave you with goose-bumps and your heart pounding for more. I say buy it. That includes you husbands and boyfriends out there! Get your true love something like this and I promise you that there will be plenty of kisses to go around. ;)This is worth buying and I'll leave it at that!

Great collection of moving movies
The "four pack" collection of Nicholas Sparks movies is a great collection of memorable movies. Well done and definitely worth viewing. The collection is a great financial deal, too.

Was somewhat disappointed because the audio reception was poor and difficult to hear
Liked the movie selections but audio was poor. Difficult to hear the dialogue!

All these movies tap into our hearts.
Truly wonderful movies. I watch them again and again until I know the entire dialogue...yet enjoy them each time.Oh, they are sappy...and most of Sparks novels are...yet sappy allows me to be aware of my heart. The recent discovery of the “little brain” in the heart—a collection of sensory neurons that think, remember and learn independently from the neurons in our brain—now gives new meaning to the role that heart-intelligence can play in our lives. The state of harmony that we create for ourselves in heart-brain coherence accesses what’s true for us in the moment in any situation. Rather than thinking through a list of pros and cons or weighing out the probability that an experience of the past will repeat itself in the present, our heart-intelligence knows instantly what’s true and meaningful for us.WoW.

2 outta three excellent, waiting to see the last
The Notebook and A Walk to Remember are both great movies. The Notebook particularly killed me because my mother currently has Alzheimers and lives with us. Some very powerful and touching scenes in both movies. I'd give them both 5 stars. Nights in Rondanthe was good toward the end, but I just didn't buy most of it. My wife and I both felt that the romance was forced and contrived. They had conversations that were just completely unlikely at such an early stage of knowing one another. It was awkward to watch at times. Still, 2 out of 3 of the movies are 5 stars. And Nights in Rodanthe was still enjoyable on the whole. I definitely would not have spent $11 to watch in a movie theatre though! Still waiting to see Message in a Bottle.

I give it 4 stars only because I've never seen Walk to Remember. The other three are old favs.

Movies based on Nicolas Sparks books - be prepared to cry
Nicolas Sparks is a writer that knows how to pull on heartstrings. Movies are usually good adaptions of the books . I really enjoy Message in a Bottle- so sad & sweet $ gut wrenching. The 3 others in this collection was a bonus as I really was just looking for the 1 movie . This collection is worth the $$$ !
