If you think crochet squares are twee, you need this book. Really striking and innovative designs with a strongly geometric feel. The only reason I haven't given this book 5 stars is because the patterns are chart only. I will have to patiently translate the charts into written instructions before I can work them, as my eyes loose track when I work from symbols. US crochet terms

Excellent instruction. Both written and illustrated with chart and photographs. So easy to follow whatever method you prefer. Possibilities are endless. Very inspirational. Might not suit someone brand new to crochet. Spiral bound too so sits open with ease. :)
