I adore these. They are so smooth and the colors are very vibrant. They blend easily with water - I use a water brush and it easily spreads on the page. I love the quality of these.

Arrived as described.I love these pencils. 20ish years ago I bought a set of watercolor pencils and felt they were dull, waxy and kind of a waste. I've ignored the medium ever since as being one of those products that tries to be two things at once and winds up failing to do either well.BUT...From the moment I set these babies to paper, I was a changed man. I made a perfectly wonderful, ugly mess on my first go round because the colors were so vibrant and lifted so well onto the brush. It is easy to overuse these pencils they are a joy, just a brilliant, fantastic, colorful joy to work with. Definitely worth the investment.Give these a try, your art will thank you.

I bought the 12 pen intro version to be able to compare them to all the other high quality brands I have. They are outstanding, very smooth to lay down dry and behave like high quality paint when wet,highly pigmented and dissolve completely. I am very impressed! I compare the colors to Sennelier, just beautiful. They are very different to Inktense, just by the fact that Inktense are soluble inks, not watercolors. So this is like apples and Oranges. I will invest in the future in the 72 wooden case set, which is pricey, but in my opinion worth every penny. Not a product for an amateur but a serious artist. I am in LOVE!

I bought these and they are so easy to use and make such beautiful colors that using the pencils is a wonderful experience! I have Derwent, Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer, and hands down I love this the most!

These colors are so rich and they're SO mixable! GREAT colors!

I like that just a spritz of water will activate the paint and cause it to slowly spread about.

Received on stated date. Packaged in bubble wrap envelope. Pencils come in a hard cardboard box with foam slot for each of the 12 watercolour pencils. The colours are beautiful creamy and activates really well with water. The only downfall in my opinion is that there is no white watercolour pencil in the set as one would have to mix the colours together the achieved colour. And the white would help a great deal.
