Gets the job done and it does it well.

I ordered this item for two reasons: it has a hex shank, which makes it easy to use with a cordless hand drill; and because the item description specifies its dimensions as "5.04 x 0.79 x 0.79 inches" — which I interpreted as surely meaning it could ream a hole up to 3/4" (i.e, 0.75 inches) in diameter. WRONG!! The max diameter is only half an inch. I have no idea where the "0.79 inches" figure comes from. Considering that all the holes I intended to make were between 1/2" and 3/4" (13–19mm) in diameter, you can imagine my disappointment. The item can still be used in a rather clumsy "stirring" motion to do some minor deburring of a larger-than-1/2-inch hole, but it's definitely not what I was expecting.If the seller offered a version of this tool that actually reams 3/4" holes, I'd happily buy it, but alas… that doesn't appear to be the case. (*womp-womp*)

Used it to expand pegholes for tuning machines in a guitar headstock. It worked great for this with minimal effort. Very happy.

Works great, love the possibility to attach it to a drill. Hate the handle bar being too loose. Would definitely order it again though

What I liked, The hexagon shank let’s you easily use a drill motor to ream a hole. The cutting edges were ground and sharp. My dislikes, I bought this to ream bridge pins and the end pin hole of a guitar. The taper of the reamer did NOT match the taper of either pin. The handle was a loose fit for the hole.

On the plus side these are affordable and better than nothing.The biggest disappointment with this is that the cutting edge is not ground all the way to the edge. Most of the cutting splines are rounded over and the cutting edge is not sharp.This is not an easy item to sharpen.They were also packaged poorly being just tossed in a bag along with the metal handle causing nicks in the cutting edge under shipment.Just like a dull drill bit, you can use them, but don't expect a clean cut.

I've used this to ream wood easily, but I also have used it for plastic and 2mm steel. The blades have remained sharp enough for continued use - great quality metal.

I don't have an external reference how a tapered reamer should perform, but I feel like it should be better than this.

Not perfectly precise

Really nice product. I have a number of guitars and poor fitting bridge pins are a pain. This reamer cleans up the hole perfectly.
