These are sturdy and perfect size for sampling dishes. I cook a lot and am always testing recipes. These are the perfect size when you want to give several people samples of a new dish (or a newer version of a dish you are trying to perfect), and you don't want to waste paper plates.They do very well in the freezer and and the lids remain snug - a big plus!They would also be good in a work area for holding screws, nuts, bolts, washers, etc. Also, great for craft projects involving beads, sequins, and other small bits and pieces. Love it! I use the lids too for a sight word game! I only needed the bowl part but I didn't want to waste the lids. I use them in centers to sort words by word family, organize them to make a sentence, homophones etc. I also use them to as air hockey game. I also used them for math center games as well.
