The perfect entry UIEM!
I tried the EM1 because frankly, I always thought Simgot's stuff looked cool - the styling drew me in, but I wasn't sure what to expect. They arrived a few days ago. Took a few photos of them with my Susvara Prion4 cable - I own Double Helix Cables and play around with the full spectrum of gear, from reasonable IEMs like this to unreasonable planars and electrostatics. I think their colors go well with my titanium connectors...In the package:They come in a sturdy hard box with foam cutouts for everything - the IEMs, cable, owner cards, and a carry bag full of two types of tips, one promising a brighter presentation than the other. The IEMs from the outside:They have a nice clear smoke color that I opted for, with a metal plate on the outside and an overall teardrop shape. They use extruded sockets which work with regular cables but are breakage resistant when used with the stock cable. The fit & feel:One of the most comfortable UIEMs I've ever worn. The preferred tips were the warmer medium size. The cables have a springy earguide that stays put behind the ear. The unique shape of these IEMs gets them pretty close to a custom fit feel. The sound:Treble is crisp and light but a little forward and edgy with the wrong tips. Using the warmer tips was the right plan. These have an upper-neutral overall quality to them, but paired with substantial, impactful bass. The mids are sweet and natural and the bass quantity is just right - it's shocking that a single dynamic is producing more pleasant, impressive bass than my 12-driver customs from other brands. The soundstage could've been a little bigger, but they have an intimate, front-row quality to them - I don't expect single DD to sound like a massive stadium. I drove these with my Hiby R3 for now and they make a terrific pairing at ~$250 combined price. Conclusion:I will be keeping these for sure! Now I need to try the rest of the Simgot lineup...

Good but they could be better
First, delivery time seemed to take a really long time from the purchase date until finally arriving. Next, these earbuds are good in performance but, nothing spectacular. I have narrow ear canals and use the smallest cushions, to help make a good seal. If I put them firmly into Me ear canal, the sound quality is better. But, I’m not able to use the “wrap around” feature of the wire to hold them snuggly in My ear. That said, I gave an “average” rating for this purchase.
