Some engines have fuel line routing and fuel filter location that must be changed slightly. The quality is great. If I did this again, I would have just called them company & got the part numbers for the thermostat housing and the heat exchanger. The hoses and clamps they supply are great, but depending on your setup, your going to need more hose and clamps. 2-3 hour install is their advertised time, but that is more than likely someone who has completed this kit on an engine before. There was a lot of custom hoses to be made. i.e. HE to Oil Cooler, HE to port & Starboard Manifold. I do not recommend buying factory mercury hoses either. I would get the kit, install, then just buy a roll of hose, elbows, couplers, and hose clamps. I spent a lot of money replacing factory hoses and due to that I can not justify purchasing this kit for this price. If the company supplied 12' of hose, more couplers, clamps, & elbows, then I could walk away and say its worth it.
