Recently I had a feeling of discomfort in my lower throat when swollowing. It hit me that I had not had these chewables in quite awhile. I suffer from acid reflux, and am very wary of too much acid coming up the pipes and causing damage that could lead to cancer. Anyway, while these do not totally rid me of the reflux, they help, like a Tums. Mostly though, it's the DGL that soothes, coats and neutralizes the acid in my throat that I get these for. I made myself get off the PPIs, and now take a 20 mg famotidine morning and often before bed. It's all diet related, of course, so I know if I change how and what I eat and drink, even for awhile, I won't need it, or as often. However, there is no doubt in my mind that 2 of these chews, which I usually allow to melt in my mouth, or chew to a liquid pulp before swollowing, stops the damage acid does when it creeps up. I take them before lying down, and it has an added benefit of helping me relax and sleep, from the magnesium in it. At first they don't taste very good, but I actually love the taste now, lol.

Not bad taste. I have gastritis and when it flares, everything triggers me. I only need to chew one tablet and usually get instant relief. Great for the occasion that I am triggered by something I ate by mistake (or didnt have the willpower to pass up). I also drink a tea with dgl, marshmallow root, aloe, and raw honey twice a day. Works better than prescription GI Dr. Had me on for 2 years! I also take Something before bed...Reflux Gourmet. I will buy again!

Love this product! It is a perfect way to combat the irritation of Acid Reflux/GERD. I have a hiatal hernia and it prevents my stomach from properly closing at the top which causes acid to escape up my esophagus, especially when I lay down to sleep at night. I keep it by my bed and take only half a chewable when I wake up in the night as they are quite large. The only downfall is the taste. I actually regretted the purchase at first because it kind of tasted like the smell of a camp fire the next morning. You know that acrid smokey smell. Well that is what it tasted a bit like... with a touch of Blueberry. I am only being honest here. But on the bright side, you get used to it! I actually look forward to having one. I can't explain it, but God help me, I like them now.

Been taking this for acid indigestion for about a month and it works fairly well plus it has a good flavor.

This sruff tastes awful. Also a big cloud of dust will come out everytime and choke you. I would not recommend these at all.

The best I've found for a heart burn attack.

I used these for awhile & really liked them. The s cond order there was more dust (chalky dust) in the container than product. This has been stated before by other buyers as well.

I have had to wait until I started eating to find out if I’d be able to complete the meal if my inability to keep things down or swallow was working I wasn’t able to do snacking but now with this product, I can take the product and then the hour I can eat most things I want. It’s a great help to me that I don’t have to pass up so many things that I would like to eat and to be able to swallow better.
