Deep Rich Taste / Each Orange Serves 3 or 4
This tea takes a long time to arrive in the United States from China. However the sellers (and Amazon) let you know that it will take a long time. Be patient. It is worth the wait!Brew this tea for 3 or 4 large cups at a time. Each dried orange full of tea is about 1/4 cup (60ml) in size when dry. There is also this gold mini-brick with:┍ ┑檟TEA┕ ┙printed on it in red. Really nice. There is only one in my bag so I will save this for last.Dried orange full of Pu'Er tea: It will get bigger when you brew it. If you want tea for one... take out 1-2 teaspoons of dry tea and a piece of the dry orange. You'll need a tea ball or tea strainer. The first time I made this tea I used the whole orange for just one 10oz glass cup. (Pictured). This made the tea very strong. However even though it is strong... it was not nasty bitter at all. (Only that subtle good bitter.)The taste is just... how do I describe it? Earthy. Brisk. Bracing. Slightly bitter on the tail end but in a sublime way. For all of us who didn't grow up with this tea... I find myself saying, "This is what good Chinese tea is supposed to taste like!" (I'm no expert but it's a wonderful taste.)I added a fresh orange slice to mine. Lemon and honey would be nice too... but honestly, I think I should be drinking this straight to really get into the flavor.I'm giving 4 stars only because I have not had enough Pu'Er tea to know what 5 stars tastes like... Having said that I'm very happy with the purchase and look forward to enjoying every dried orange/tea packet and the gold foiled [檟 | TEA] brick too. (I'm going to find a nice glass tea pot just for this tea. )

Not for me
To me it tastes more like dirt than the hint of orange I expected based on the packaging. Yes it’s supposed to have “earthy” notes but this is a bit overwhelming and defies ones expectations having been stored in orange peels.

Yum
I waited a bit for this tea as it comes directly from China. It was worth it. I experimented with steep times. All were good. Smooth bold flavor was perfect for me after a longer steep. Smelled lovely, tasted great.

quality
I've had quite a few varieties of pu'er with tangerine, king orange, etc and this is a good one. Smooth pu'er that can be brewed for any length of time along with the citrus peal flavor.I do large amounts of tea at a time, 2+ liter, and find that splitting each orange into two parts works well. In a smaller teapot I'd break the peal into smaller chunks and probably divide each orange into four portions

Good tea
Fortunately found this tea at Amazon. The shipping took a while, but it’s worth to wait. Will rebuy it.
