Devon-Aire Women's All Pro Classic Breech

I haven't bought new breeches in years and was a little worried, but I love these. They are probably thicker than most, but I love them. The first pair I bought was just a little big, so I returned for a size down and now they are perfect. I'm on the petite side at 5'4" and around 120 lbs (?) and 26R was the right fit. I live in New Orleans so it gets hot here in the spring and summer, but I've been fine with these and I think they'll work in the cooler months too. I love that they don't have velcro at the bottom, but elastic. I got them in the light color because so many reviewers mentioned the purple color with the black. I wish they had these in dark grey or hunter green. I think I'll end up getting a second pair.

I wear these breeches several times every week. They always look good, and they are great for hot, humid riding. They are very cool, the fabric is soft, comfortable, and the ribs make them slightly "grippy". They also wash beautifully. I usually line dry them but have put them in the dryer when I absolutely must have them in a hurry and they machine dry well, too. They are not "Low Rise" so they don't slip down your backside while riding, or create that dreaded "muffin top" that riders my age (fifty-something) want to camouflage, not draw attention to! One thing to be aware of is they are Looooong...!! I mean really, really long. I am almost 5' 3" (I know... not exactly towering over the crowd!) and I have to cuff them over my paddock boots about 3", and then hide the cuff under half-chaps. For anyone 5' 7" and taller, they would be perfect. Finding a breech this good at such a great price has made my summer!

They are lightweight and have a good bit of give. They are considerably smaller than my previous 26R ordered just a few months ago of similar style, fitting like my 24R pikeur breeches. If unsure, order one size up. Length is shorter as well compared to my previous from same brand, if you’re over 5’6” I would order the longer length...

The pants I received was not what the picture was. The Devon Aire Women's All Pro Classic Breech, Black, 28 Regular has NO lines/seam on the butt, these pants have a seam on the butt. Also, around the zipper pocket is black in the picture and these pants have purple around the zipper. And the bottom of the pants are suppose to be all black ribbed material and these pants have a purple stretch material at the bottom. I do not like the purple around the ankle nor around the pocket, nor would I have ordered these pants with the seam on the rear end of the pants.Very disappointed in these pants.

They are good quality. Just standard rubber-like (I mean stretchy) pants with some protection between your knees and the saddle. Usable.For a half price you can buy a pair of cheap skinny stretch jeans. They would do just as well.My trouble with them is that they are not like in the picture. Not all black. The zipper, the material around the pocket and the material around the ankles is purple. Personally I hate this.The pair I bought arrived not matching the description. I sent it back, and bought the same one thinking it was an error. But the other pair arrived also with purple pocket...Would I buy them again? No.I’d try something else or woud buy a pair of cheap stretchy jeans.

I love these breeches. I had purchased a pair of Devon-Aire full seat classic cut breeches prior to these and liked them so well I decided to try this pair. These are much lighter than the other pair and have less compression. Nevertheless, they are very flattering. They are comfortable in the saddle and they double well with my regular habit of jogging. That means I have fewer things to take with me when I go camping with my horses. These breeches fit true to size and I really do like them a lot. I will be buying more of them in the near future.

I wanted tense to work out, but the material was much thinner than I'm used to. I prefer the Tuffrider Classics which are firmer, better made and more flattering on a bigger girl. I wear a size 10 in stretchy jeans and these fit a bit loose...again I'm looking for a snug fit, which doesn't ride up the crotch. I returned these and ordered the Tuffriders....WHICH I LOVE!!!

These were very nice, but didn't fit me. The fabric was sturdy without being stiff. While it fit in the waist, the thighs and hips were much too big for me. They'd be better for someone with a curvier figure than I have. (I ultimately discovered that Dublin Slender breeches were just the right breeches for my body type.)

Comfortable and easy to care for- just put in washer and dryer. Voila! Stain free!

Good product, but needs full leather seat. Fits well, but I would prefer more cotton in the fabric.

You get what you pay for.
