Elegant YarnsKaleidoscope Yarn, Hummingbird

UPDATE: contacted teh seller several times, they insist that the shipment has not arrived. I assure you it did. OCT 14. I have filed a a-z claim against the seller. I am expecting a refund via amazon. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER. They do not even acknowledge there is a issue, even when there are photos.This item was not new, it can a frayed tangled mess. I needed to WHOLE skein, not part of it. It looks and feels as if someone had given the beginning of it to a cat. Not happy. Will not be ordering yarn of this variety again.Update: it has been nearly a week, and I have not heard from the seller. I will wait until Friday, and if I do not hear from them to resolve the issue. I will resolve the issue through amazon. Item is not new, and the whole skein is not usable. Not what I paid for.

I have bought twelve different Elegant Yarns Kaleidoscope color-ways. None has disappointed me. Each one is a delightful surprise. Surprise because the skein image can't always show the whole color scheme. But they are beautifully designed. I wonder who is the designer. Well done! I am using this yarn for felting projects. It works well in the hand, solf and yielding. It felts perfectly for me. A few of the skeins had a knot or two, but most didn't . Also, the name of the color on the page is not on the yarn wrapper, and the number on the wrappper is not on the page. Keep track! I should write this review for each color I bought because there doesn't seem to be a main Kaleidoscope page.

Not what I expected. Although the color is really beautiful.

I've used this yarn for quite a while and was saddened when the company stopped production. Was a nice surprise to find some here. The colours are vibrant and fun. It's not the softest wool but it's nice. I like it.
